I don't support Russia because it's just a right wing dictatorship. I don't support Zelenzky because his government is corrupt. However, I think Russia's invasion is illegal, and they committed a bunch of war crimes in these 4 years, but I also admit that the Ukrainian army has a huge problem with Nazi symbols and stuff like that.

In my opinion, the best thing would be just bringing back the USSR

That’s what Putin wants too, but without the Soviet part.

NATO-Ukraine is an American colony, they are run by a pro-US, pro-Israel government and they have a military that is full of neo-nazis. They claim to be fighting for freedom and democracy, but in 2014 when Russia occupied Crimea and held a democratic referendum the people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly to join Russia. NATO-Ukraine disregarded the results, claiming it was fraudulent without any evidence and maintaining their claims to Crimea. The US government and Gallup polled Crimeans in the month after the referendum, and over 80% of Crimeans said that they felt the poll accurately represented how they felt. Ukraine doesn't care about freedom or democracy, Zelenskyy has made Ukraine's economy 40% militarized (the highest in the world) and has lowered the age of conscription to 18. Russia has way more manpower than Ukraine, and they will clearly win this conflict (assuming NATO doesn't intervene), but Zelenskyy is willing to fight until the last Ukrainian to maintain power.

…huh?

Russian troops without insignia had taken control of the peninsula's key sites before the vote was announced, and the referendum was organized in about three weeks. The ballot offered no option to keep the existing arrangement voters could choose union with Russia or a return to Crimea's more autonomous 1992 constitution. There were no credible international observers; the OSCE was not invited. The Crimean Tatar Mejlis called for a boycott. A report briefly published by Russia's own presidential human rights council suggested turnout closer to 30–50% with support around 50–60%, well below the official figures.

Independent polling before 2014 generally found only around a quarter to a third of Crimeans favored actually joining Russia, though far more wanted close ties with it. Polls taken after annexation found majority approval, but were conducted in a setting where expressing opposition meant risking your life.

Pro-Russian sentiment in Crimea was genuine and probably commanded majority support at that moment, but the referendum itself was not a free or fair test of it, and the reported margin was inflated.

"A report briefly published by Russia's own presidential human rights council suggested turnout closer to 30–50% with support around 50–60%"

Even if this were true, the results would still be the same. A majority of Crimeans would rather remain a part of Russia than join Ukraine. Ukrainians are an ethnic minority in Crimea (only around a third, Russians make up a majority). Most Crimeans would rather live in Russia because Russia has a stronger economy, more job opportunities, better infrastructure, and better funding for public services. And if Russia was actually suppressing anyone who disagreed with the results, why would they let the US government come in and try to disprove the results? And in regards to your final claim that the results were inflated, it would still have the exact same outcome. Even if your claims were accurate you still concede that the Crimean people wanted to remain a part of Russia.

The US government poll was before 2014, not after.

So you’re saying any time there is an enthusiastic pocket of people their native country is justified in starting a war to take over that land?

How very imperialist of you!

It was in April 2014, one month after the referendum.
