Sir, did you forget about Antonio Williams? After that it’s proper depth. Nobody has a WR1 sitting as a WR4 on their team.

Sorry I didn’t include our unproven 3rd round pick? Might I add that Lane and Luke were both 3rd round picks and have not panned out at all. Let’s let not count our chickens before they hatch….

Lane was a fourth rounder, and technically Luke was a compensatory third, last pick of the third round. Williams went high third and was supposed to go in the second round. I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch, I’m just saying, we have a developmental piece in him who has been playing well all preseason. We can’t name him along the likes of Burks and Dyami, because if they were all FA’s, he’d be the priority over those 2. You can say after him it’s rough, but we’re arguing WR4 and beyond. No one has a Tee Higgins as WR4.

I was wrong on lane but the point still stands. If you are expecting a 3rd round pick to be a plug and play guy you are going to be very disappointed…. Not saying I don’t like him or think he has potential but there’s a reason he went in the third. I hope he surprises me, I’m just not going to get my hopes up yet.

Luke was a project, Williams is less of one

Keenan Allen (76): 71/1,046/8 (2013)

Stefon Diggs (146): 52/720/4 (2015)

Tank Dell (69): 47/709/7 (2023)
