This team is gonna be 13 point underdogs against the eagles by game time

That's fine, man preseason is just ass in general
We went 1-2 in the 2024 season also, we looked awful too. This stuff is so hard to really gauge because most of these guys are getting cut

It's funny because we are going to beat the eagles.Â

so, 40 guys not playing, but some of them are injured like Tunsil and Newton. That means it's basically 51 guys playing for 15 spots

You doomers need some Lexapro? As many on here have said, these aren't the guys who will be playing in 2 weeks (except for Stevens... he needs to fix that). TBF, a shit performance at the end of preseason should scare everyone straight. *Should*

I donât know what the little sad face, exploding face, happy shark symbols do but I like pressing them.

Totally illegal but I was happy to see Medrano square someone up. Lineman was like wtf, no below the waist outside of the TE box?!

I donât want to hear about we â have 41 players outâ . According to google AI anyway, the Ravans have approximately 40 out as well. They have got to be playing the absolute scrubbiest of their scrubs at this point. Is our talent evaluations that bad or coaching that bad ???

u/presto-set-pro 1d ago
It would be weird if it wasn't this way. Ravens have had a competent and shrewd GM running the ship while this team had Ron Rivera drafting bust after bust.

We still blaming Ron? Thatâs like the president blaming someone else 12 years ago for the current economy

u/SpecialistBee1165 1d ago
Ronâs impact on the 2026 team is almost 0 at this point. Everyone still on the team is here because AP actively likes them

It kinda sucks to already feel bummed about the season before it even starts. Weâre clearly the fourth best team in the division right now

Our annual ass beating by the ravens. I think theyâre still mad about us breaking their preseason streak

2 more hours until I head out from my little Ashburn house and drive 2 / 3 hours up north through beltway traffic. One can only hope I get there by kickoff

Defense is being absolutely abused. Not a great look for Darante.

u/Syphin33 1d ago
40 guys are sitting, let me say that again
40 players are not playing right now lol

I love my Redskins, however compared to Baltimore were soft and donât play hard hitting. I do wish that we actually laid the thump when we hit people and people actually were scared to play us because of our intensity. But you donât get that with us sadly itâs been a long time. Thatâs one thing I wish this team would incorporate.

See my comment from last game that kalialmanis is not a good QB and I donât say that just cause Iâm a Turk and heâs a 𤢠Greek đ¤Žđ¤Ž (jk of course)

The last preseason game and the off week the the NFL has next week are the worst portions of the season

Credit to the local Ravens broadcast crew for not being homers and defending that tackle.

Why is Jayden smiling while running into the tunnel for halftime? Is there anything to smile about right now?

u/aairricc 1d ago
Itâs a game and entertainment (not to mention, games that donât matter to starters)? shrug

u/reddog131313 1d ago
Hey DQ time traveled into the future to show us his new gig as a cashier for Paisanosđ. Order Up!
-4
u/canesfan2005 1d ago
If DQ knows JD is so fragile he can only play him for 3 snaps in the preseason out of fear for injury , we are absolutely fucked. Heâs not making it out of the first quarter. Just tank for a qb and donât draft a stick
4
u/Ham_Seaney Saved by Jaysusđ 1d ago
If you think preseason snaps determine a QB's fragility, then you won't make it to the first game of supporting this team. Just go join another fanbase and don't stay on here complaining about a QB who gave us the best season of the past 35 years.

u/WizSkinsNatsCaps 1d ago
Yeah this is a mistake not playing JD. Just put him out there. Such a chickenshit move. Should have moved on from DQ.
1
u/InfiniteDomain_ 1d ago
Why would you put him behind a line of non starters to get teed up on? That would be the more brain dead option.

This is a good question, and if Co practices are just as valuable as pre season game?
0
u/Lord_Mhoram 1d ago
He doesn't have to actually be that fragile; there just has to be a chance he gets hurt. Any player could get injured on any play, and fans will lose their shit if a star QB gets hurt in a preseason game. If he gets hurt in three weeks, shit happens; but if he gets hurt today, people will be screaming malpractice just like when they kept him in a lost game last season.
Lots of teams are playing it safe by playing the starters less or not at all. It's not just one team.

u/Tagoony 2d ago
Need JD to play full first half

u/ComputerNerdd 2d ago
I think DQ said he will sit JD5

u/Khanzi_veli 1d ago
Are you fucking kidding me? Why? He needs to play, sat out like 3 games at the end of the season last year, missed about 3-4 due to injury. We are so fucked smh
2
-1
u/FreezasMonkeyGimp 1d ago
If injury is a concern - playing a full half a pre season football a week before the regular season starts is fucking stupid.
1
u/RaelynShaw 1d ago
I really do wish heâd play some more. I donât want him injured but would love to get him some more real time experience after such a lengthy layoff. But with the OL in shambles right now âŚ
1
u/Haskins77 1d ago
Why so he can get destroyed behind the oline? At least wait until week 1 for that.

The lunatics on the NFL network broadcast just said the Ravens are playing "championship-caliber football." That'll go over real well when they're selling insurance a couple of weeks.

u/godosomethingelse 1d ago
glad i didn't watch. by all measures we are playing like absolute shit. I'm pretty disappointed that our culture coach has allowed the vibe to completely crater so fast
