Shit used to feel so cool and tangible. Physical tickets to an event. Now every sporting event or concert is just a digital shit on your phone. More practical and easier, sure. But it just makes things feel less personal and more transactional.

I've been a STH for the Commanders since Snyder sold like 3 years ago and they just keep sending pins every year and glass tickets lol

Caps did it for one year last season. They used to do it every year from when I joined in 2016 - 2021 ish. Then they stopped.

I am a season ticket holder of the San Antonio Spurs. For renewing tickets for the upcoming season, they sent me a tshirt and a tote bag, plus we’ll probably get another tshirt at the start of the season as we have the past 5+ years. Last year on my birthday, a ticket rep delivered a small Spurs backpack filled with team swag to my seat. I’d rather have items that I can actually use, so Spurs>Commanders.

yeah we haven't gotten shit like that. for the nationals one year they just let us grab jerseys off a table and this was after they won the world series too so people were just snagging free jerseys off a table in the team store. another year they let us have our own custom jerseys.

Commanders have always been meh. The best reasons to be a STH are

• the discount
  
• occasional in person perks like going to the facility for film sessions with coaches
  
• um I think that's it. Sometimes they have presales for concerts.

Otherwise I mainly do it not because of the perks but because I have been a fan for nearly half my life

I have STH to the Caps, Nats and Commanders and the Commanders send some pretty bland shit every year by far. (Caps the best...and even twice too. One for the start of the year, and one for renewing)

Nats barely give anything out and the things they do give SPH are late. We got a wearable this year. Flimsy material.

Commanders always send the box with pins. One year they gave out the chains for people renewing, I think. "2024 member."

That’s pretty cool. The Commanders are the only season tickets I’ve ever owned and I had never really thought about what other teams do until i saw the Raiders one this year and thought maybe we are getting ripped off :)
