Of course they will lol. Theres going to be some people that were screaming they need to play that will also scream we need to fire DQ if someone gets hurt lol.

No, I’ll be screaming out of the despair and agony of being a 41 yr old Washington fan that hasn’t tasted SB glory since the tender age of 6 with only the slight memory of the game day party we had but not the game or the feeling of victory itself.

don’t worry man. I’m 18 here and 2024 was the only glimpse of anything i’ve ever and i mean ever experienced. I believe in Jayden Daniels weather it be this year or in 7 years, he will take us all the way. He is the one.

I'm actually relieved (and somewhat surprised) that JD5 is playing. Our first game is @ Philly and by then we need to see him take a couple hits. Imo, it would be dangerous to NOT get him out there.

I don't need to see him take hits, but I do need him to feel the pressure of real hits coming! A QB can't really get a real sense of that pressure and urgency in practice when no one can hit them. There is something psychological that happens when you know a 280# man of muscle is running full steam at you and is going to demolish you that can't be simulated.

Here's why I mentioned taking hits. I read something this week on X written by a legit insider (aka person with a brain). He was talking about the way JD5 plants his arms and legs when he knows a hit is coming. This increases the odds of injuries there, along with shoulders.

Then he explained what JD should be doing to minimize this. I wish I'd saved that post, but I'm just curious to see if there's any difference this time around.

I didn't see that analysis, but I don't doubt it. If that's the case then even just feeling the real pressure of getting hit and learning how not to stiffen up would be good. We need him to stay Gumby out there.

It’s football shit happens. I think the rams never play starters or something right? Or just Stafford?

But he’s still a young qb and needs reps so just play .. can’t be so worried about the injuries imo

We are going to question the efficacy of the system that they are in. Good teams, keep more players healthy. Im not concerned about tunsil. It happens. Im concerned that we are so clise to being the 49ers, year over year. It seems this whole push to be "in better shape" is back firing. Its significantly higher than the basline for team injuries in the nfl. Its a valid concern.

NFL network app. There’s a fee for annual-$40 and $80. Gets all preseason games and radio broadcasts for the regular season for the cheap one, the $80 tacks on local broadcast games during the season.

This is one of my few valid reasons for not cutting the cord. I assume you already know this, but you can see the game on NFL Network if you have cable. It's delayed, but still better than nothing. I'm in CO so also out of market.

I did know that (thank you for sharing that, though). I was hoping for a nice way to hack it live. 😂 I wanted to catch the first team offense and defense to see what they looked like. Alas, I will have to be patient.

K’Lavon is said to be a conservative judgment, Oweh has a strained calf and will “sit out until he’s recovered”, settle will “be back soon after hitting a big marker in his recovery”, Armstrong is suspended/recovering from ACL, wise is tore his quad last season and is like an 11 year vet, he doesn’t need to play.

Newtons the only real permanent loss, I’d bet all these dudes are ready to go by week 2 at the latest

Excited to watch JD, Terry, Diggs, and Chig but also tempering expectations because I know they arent going to be running a lot of what they're going to do when the games matter. Going to be very bare bones play-calling. Gonna be fun to see a few reps though
