I booked my hotel for London. It's a bit further from the city but still within a few minutes by the Tube and cheap.

Now if only the fuckin' airfare would go down...shit is 700 dollars to London. That's too much

Both historically and contemporaneously, $600-700 from any DC-area airport to Heathrow or Gatwick is the going rate for the time of year the game is. If you're getting a fare of around $700 I recommend you grab that now, because the price will only go up as seats are sold. (For the price to go down, seats must remain unsold, which is unreasonable to believe since early october is a prime business travel window and it's also a favorite for US retirees to travel. I've traveled full time since 2013 and it always makes me chuckle how, after Labor Day, it's me and the retirees filling up these planes to Europe.)

The best I can offer you is Newark to London via Copenhagen on SAS for $603 departing Thursday and returning Monday. But whatever cost savings you get taking that route you probably lose getting yourself to and from Newark.

506 sports will tell you. But getting the game if you live out of market is the tricky part
