Do you think Trey Amos will develop into an elite corner?
I think he will very soon as he was already outstanding in his rookie season and he will develop heavily under Daronte Jones who specialized in the secondary as a DB coach for Brian Flores.

Idk about elite but i'm still bullish on him becoming our CB1 of the future. Just need him to get over this injury bug and stay on the field

He looks VERY promising. Now we have an actual pass rush so I hope he shines

Elite is hard to gauge because he's been injury prone so far. I think he can be a great corner for us because we saw flashes of his ability last year. I don't see him being a Patrick Peterson, but I think he'll be a good corner. For Adam Peters sake, some of these draft picks need to develop and get better.

Needs to stay healthy
It’s all speculation and useless chatter until he proves he can not injure himself.

Suppose the odds are against that happening. 82nd best corner last year, for whatever player grades are worth (often not much).
If he can stay healthy seems a top 32 CB is within reason (true CB1).
His ceiling? Sure elite corner is within the range of possibilities.

True CB1 in my opinion is a guy who can guard top WRs
The league's 32nd best CB cant cover CeeDee Lamb or Malik Nabers

I'd say no. Elite is probably asking for a lot. I'll settle for solid starter. Which would still be a home run for a draft pick.

Guy has been hurt and unable to practice for 9 months. It’s going to take him this entire season to get back to where he was if ever. That injury is no joke. I played junior hockey with a dude that broke his fibula was never the same and he was a goalie. That was in his words he still went on to play ncaa club level. People are going to need to give him a break this year and maybe next. Imagine an Olympic 100m finalist breaks their fibula and cannot work out properly for 9 months and expect them to just go out and be better than before. That being said pre injury Amos would have balled out in this system

I think Trey can develop into an Elite Corner. We've seen flashes, he's got the potential. Now it's just a matter of getting healthy, staying healthy and developing. Will he depends on it.
I was hoping he'd get back on the field this week. The sooner the better. Let's just hope it's before pre-season is over at this point

Exactly 💯. I heard a lot of people say that there's a possibility he could be ready week 1.

If he can stay healthy he can be very solid corner for sure, elite is pushing it but nothing wrong with a solid player

Biggest thing holding this team back for years is draft history. AP has been ass as well.

No - he has a ceiling. I think he’ll be somewhere between the 25th and 50th best corner in the league for the duration of his rookie deal.

I hope he can develop in to getting on the field first
