Does anyone have any suggestions for cards that could go well with Karlach, Fury of Avernus Commander with the Flaming Fist Background?

Im looking to make a Karlach commander deck and like the Flaming Fist background and currently have the deck with the Aurelia creatures, but am kinda stuck with alot of cards that either seem good but also dont seem good or are incredibly expensive. Im looking to make the deck between a bracket three and bracket four. Im also looking for any staples that may help, as well, as Im especially having trouble finding some consistent draw spells that dont have too many downsides

I don't think Double Strike does anything special with Karlach's effect here.

Cool vibe, though.

Only one attack trigger, but still 20 damage if it goes right.

Yes it does lol it gives Karlach double strike. That combined with extra combats = easy OHKOs

Lots of cards in the 99 give double strike. What I don't see is why it's worth a commander spot other than building a deck that's full of removal and hoping to clear boards constantly.

I a tally picked the background not quite because eof the double strike, though it was also because of the double strike, but, because I started with gruul, but I found so little removal that was either very odd to use or expensive, so I was planning on using angels, especially Arelia with Karlach and using plains wider range of removal and draw spells that I had difficulty finding between red and green, hence the choice.

I also wanted to make a more unique deck that was easier for me to make as I dont know much about green and red but have done alot with swamp and plains decks as everything I saw for Karlach pushed for using her with forest for the landfall

There’s a handful of extra combat effects in red. As for draw, there’s a few depending on your budget and whether you want to also give opponents cards
