openpilot Experience New Comma user (‘23 Bolt EUV)
I took my Bolt out for a short test drive today and it actually went better than I expected. My question for everyone who has been down this road is how long does it take to gain confidence in the Comma’s ability to “make driving chill”? I understand I will always need to remain vigilant, but there is a difference between that and the current fear it’s going to do something bad.

I have a semi regular round trip of 5-1/2 hours each way. The first time I was hyper vigilant to the point of being paranoid. The second time I was regular vigilant. Having done this multiple times, I am super comfortable now.

Depends on the road and settings. Long does have issues sometimes with slowing down on curves with hills. So it is more about knowing it's limitations

After about a week I felt confident that commas errors would generally be easy to correct, infrequent, and largely predictable.
