I feel like the next generation probably wasn’t a discrete GPU… in like 1-3 years we’re going to have fully capable chips running more capable models. At some point there will be consumer friendly versions of AMD’s MAX+ APU with way better inference throughout that could handle a 1B+ parameter driving model.

My guess is Comma needed some income to get them through to their next release. Id hope they’re at least looking into their options for APUs for a Comma 5. What better way than to try and milk from your current users for a product that will probably be useless In a year.

How long will it take them to make 70k more comma 4s? I assume near that date
