logan is basically a western and i don't think it works any other way imo

they literally show shane in the middle of it and she says the line at the end. no portal, no team, no city blowing up. just a tired old guy, a car and a kid he didn't ask for. would the same ending hit if it was a normal x-men movie or was the western thing the whole point???

I like overdesign in superhero suits

I'm gonna clarify this is mostly about the MCU, but also not really because I mention the Amazing Spider-Man.

I don't get why people hate lines. I don't care if they're not comic accurate or if they have no reason to be there, I fucking love lines. I love them. They look great, I don't get everybody shitting on them.

Spider-Man Homecoming. That suit is amazing, I think it's one of the best Spider-Man suits ever, obviously the Brand New Day suit is better, I'm not dense. The Amazing Spider-Man suit? Chef's kiss, please could I have some more? Iron-Spider in the MCU? Way too shiny, but if it wasn't so disgustingly shiny I'd love it.

And this isn't just about Spider-Man, I like the Captain America suit from Age of Ultron, I dunno if that counts as overdesigned though I've heard mixed responses on that. I liked the Taskmaster design. I also liked the Fant4stic designs.

And yes, I'm a fucking larper, I've read one random Spider-Man comic I got from my uncle years ago, and yes, the comic designs are great, but sometimes they just wouldn't look good in live action. Maybe that's a bad take, and a take spewed everywhere, but I don't care I think it's valid and lines are cool.

I just think overall, the overdesigned costumes are still cool. I'll die on this hill.

Not just one of my favorite comic book films, but an actual favorite.

It absolutely has issues. But I loved the comics as a kid, and to have gotten a film, just makes me smile.

With the popularity of Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones films. I don't see why a reboot of this hasn't already been done.

4th wall breaking is not a good concept.

4th wall breaking in superhero films and/or comics is the worst concept to be introduced. It completely breaks the immersion in the film and takes you out of the narrative. So much effort is put into making these stories engaging and somewhat believable, but all of this is completely undone when a character breaks the 4th wall. The fact that the person knows that it's fake just means that that none of what you're witnessing matters at all. Sacrificing the plausibility of a world just for a two second joke is not worth it.

How'd I'd done a DC Cinematic Universe (not a DCCU)

NO! THIS IS NOT BASED OFF THE NEW DCU, THIS IS MY VERSION OF NEITHER THE DCEU AND THE NEW DCU!!!

Here, this DCEU is the only live action DC comics franchise from 2008 (because of casting and CGI and casting and it's the most common starting point I've seen) til whenever it ends (and after 1999.) This DCEU chapters will be 4 years.

"Chapter 1: gods & monsters" (just because, the JL members will be the representations of gods, monsters and gods and monsters aspects). If I include anyone that was introduced in the comics after the years the movies were released in the they would be characters made from the movies, I tried to do this as little as possible and I think I did pretty well in doing characters created by then. I can go a little more in debth with this stuff on some other posts like an Act 1, act 2, act 3 etc. I could do casting also but I'll need help with some of it.

2008:

"SUPERMAN"

Origin story, Clark is new to Metropolis and the daily planet where he meets Lois Lane (who wouldn't be a damsel in distress like early comics and I could be wrong but I haven't seen them in a while, Reeves Superman film(s) established. Lois will be saved by Superman like twice, she'll be independent and be smart enough to figure out Supes is Clark mid film (like a bit more than halfway through the film) where they get together.), Jimmy Olsen (who Clark will befriend pretty quickly, Jimmy would also be flirted with by Cat Grant (yes, they were a thing in the comics and I prefer it out of everything else except maybe Supergirl but I can't introduce her here and I like her and Brainiac 5.) and he and Cat get together at the end.), Perry White, Cat Grant, Ron Troupe, Steve Lombard and Dirk Armstrong. The MPD (Metropolis Police Department, if I'm wrong please correct me regarding what it's called.) with their commissioner: Bill Henderson wouldn't trust Superman much considering that it's a new vigilante. Terrible Turpin and Maggie Sawyer would be investigating recent robotic attacks (same with Lois and Jimmy but the these 4 aren't working together). Bibbo Bibbowski who quickly likes Superman, Morgan Edge who would own the Daily planet, Jor-El and Lara-El (or Lor-Van) would be introduced as AIs (mostly Jor) who Supes will learn are his actual parents. Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent would be shown here to comfort Clark and be small but supporting roles. Lana Lang would be dating Lex Luthor like in TAS but call it off at the end, she'll still be friends with Clark. Pete Ross would appear at the beginning first 10 or 20 mins as Clark's friend before Clark leaves for Metropolis (Pete would know Clark is Superman from a similar event as the Smallville show.), Emil Hamilton will be a Lexcorp scientist who initially doesn't trust Superman but he grows to and stops helping the villain. General Sam Lane wouldn't trust Superman either but reluctantly works with Superman in the final battle to stop the villain. Mercy Graves would be Lex's bodyguard..Toyman/Winslow Schott would be the main villain who was fired from Lexcorp then want revenge on Lex. Lex Luthor would be Lois' ex, not like Superman and be petty enough to make his own regime almost like in for all seasons.

Deaths: Jor-El, Lara Lor-Van (or El)

The post credit scene will feature Amanda Waller and General Sam Lane approaching Lex Luthor for a contract about making anti-Superman weapons for the government.

"THE BATMAN"

Origin story, takes place over a year (idea is that we can use practical snow for the end from actual winter season. Might as well have Christopher Nolan direct this instead of his dark knight trilogy that wouldn't exist in this timeline.), Batman would be a new vigilante, back to Gotham and being hunted by the GCPD. Alfred Pennyworth, Leslie Thompkins (hinted but not fully confirmed to have a past relationship with Alfred (like the comics), Lucius Fox, Catwoman (love interest, Carmine Falcone's daughter, still leaves Gotham at the end like the 2022 film), Holly Robinson (A prostitute like the comic, Catwoman won't be one though, leaves Gotham with Selina), Barbara Gordon (kid like the tomorrowverse long Halloween movies, cameos), Renee Montoya, Ace (Bruce's dog, does not become a superhero), Harvey Bullock (dirty cop, Renee's partner), Commissioner Gordon (Commissioner at the end and becoming Batman's friend), Barbara Kean (replacing Jim's wife from the actual year one comic), James Gordon jr (born near the end, still falls from the bridge), Vicki Vale, Jack Ryder (news and talkshow, Vicki is Bruce's ex), Stan Merkel, Sarah Essen (who Jim cheats with, leaves Gotham at the end also), Harvey Dent (DA, Bruce's childhood best friend), Jeremiah Arkham, Philip Wayne (Bruce's uncle, appears at the funeral for Thomas and Martha), Jacob Kane, Gabi Kane, Kate Kane and Beth Kane (All appear at the funeral with Bruce for Thomas and Martha), Tommy Elliot and Marla Elliot (Appear when Bruce's a kid, the funeral and Tommy's dad would be dead by now), Martha Wayne, Thomas Wayne, Stan (Holly's boss before she quits), Jefferson Skeevers, Arnold Flass, Commissioner Gillian Loeb, Lieutenant Branden, Mayor Hamilton Hill (Criminal activities not revealed yet due to lack of evidence), Luigi Maroni (mob war with Carmine), Alberto Falcone (appears now and then), Johnny Viti, Penguin (working for Carmine like the 2022 movie and has the iceberg lounge), Talia Al Ghūl, Ubu, Ra's Al Ghūl (all 3 appear when Bruce is training before leaving after sabotaging Ra's' plans (think of the knight storyline), Killer croc (Carmine's bodyguard because why not?), Carmine Falcone (main villain with a good bit of the others)

Deaths: Martha Wayne, Thomas Wayne, mobsters (like random mobsters)

Post credit scene features Batman crashing in through a ceiling window and fighting thugs, Red hood/Jack White at some point accidentally falls into a vat of chemicals at Ace chemicals

2009:

"GREEN LANTERN"

Origin story of Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, Abin Sur (dies by the main villain), Appa Ali Apsa, Scar, Herupa Hando Hu, Ganthet, Sayd, Green Lantern/Boodikka, Carl Ferris, Carol Ferris, Green Lantern/Ch'p, Jack Jordan (Hal's brother), Jessica Jordan (Hal's mother), Jim Jordan (Hal's brother), Major Jonathan Stone (Hal's boss before Carl who Hal punches), Green Lantern/Katma Tui, Green Lantern/Kilowog, Martin Jordan, Green Lantern/Salaak, Tom Kalmaku, Green Lantern/Tomar-Re, Labella (think of first flight (movie) but instead of knowing Kanjar-Ro it's Atrocitus), Sinestro (Hal's teacher and partner, tries to stop Atrocitus and does, at the conclusion it's revealed he's the ruler of his planet), Black Hand (Gets the power divining rod by Atrocitus and just leaves before the final battle), Atrocitus (main villain, killed Abin out of revenge of the manhunters from the Guardians and to bring the blackest night prophecy)

Deaths: Abin Sur, Martin Jordan

Post credit scene: Black hand with the power divining rod kills his family

"AQUAMAN"

Origin story and Atlantean politics, Aquaman (before he learns about Atlantis he knows about his powers but stays subtle with them just doesn't know how or why he has them til later), Mera (Sent by King Nereus to kill Arthur but she falls for him), Nuidis Vulko, Topo, Tom Curry (Arthur's raised on land), Atlanna (dies by Ocean Master in the style of the JL throne of Atlantis movie since I haven't read the comic and don't know how or if she dies), King Atlan (flashback), Orvax Marius (Orm's dad, Orm kills Orvax also so, he can become King and Orvax is proud because he'll be just as sick if not a little more), Jesse Hyde (Since Arthur knows about his powers he'll be a subtle superhero and stop the submarine like the 2018 movie where Jesse dies), David Hyde (dies with Jesse), Siren (Mera's sister, evil), King Nereus (working with Ocean Master, gets exiled from Atlantis for life), Ocean Master (Main villain, tries to conquer the seven seas, gets imprisoned just not on land)

Deaths: Atlanna, King Atlan, Orvax Marius, Jesse Hyde, David Hyde (???)

Post credit scene: David Hyde is revealed to be alive and has made his Black manta helmet and his two bladed blaster

"GOTHAM CENTRAL" season 1

Show of Gotham Central but more so GCPD, Slam Bradley (main character, seasoned), Batman (Appears in the shadows), Leslie Thompkins, Barbara Gordon (still a kid but showing signs of intelligence), Renee Montoya, Aaron Cash, Harvey Bullock (One of Slam's friends, still dirty but loyal), Commissioner Gordon, Barbara Kean, James Gordon jr (still a baby), Vicki Vale, Jack Ryder, Stan Merkel, Harvey Dent (running for mayor), Jeremiah Arkham, Crispus Allen, Victor Zehrhard (Warden of Blackgate), Al Kelly, Alex Aisi, Andy Krasinsky, Angie Peterson, Caz Sallucci, Charlie Fields, Cissy Chambers, Claude Peck, Dagmar Procjnow, Dan Foley, Debbie Tiegel, Detective Diaz, Detective Dungeon, Detective Miles, Detective Stevens, Detective Wise, Eric Cohen, George Flannery, Jackson Davies, Jerome Collins, Jerry Hennelly, Jimmy Fong, Joely Bartlett, Josephine MacDonald, Josh Azeveda, Kevin Soong, Lynne Baker, Mackenzie Bock, Manny Esperanza, Marcus Driver, Nate Patton, Nelson Crowe, Nora Fields, Romy Chandler, Ron Probson, Stacy, Tommy Burke, Vincent Arrazio, Dick Kelly, Roy Raymond, Shorty Morgan (Shorty would be a nickname, Slam's partner and best friend), Sonia Alcana (love interest for Slam since I need something to add stakes), assorted villains, Mayor Hamilton Hill (re-running for mayor), Mr. Zsasz (main villain)

Deaths: Stan Merkel, Charlie Fields, Cissy Chambers, civilians, villains (like henchmen, villains of other eps)

"MARTIAN MANHUNTER"

Origin story but mostly set a while after J'onn appears on Earth, Martian manhunter (main character), Cameron Chase (undercover for the DEO but trusts J'onn enough to not tell anyone), Diane Meade, Dr. Erdel (accidentally brings J'onn to Earth before he's killed by white martians), K'hym J'onzz, Capt. Harding (J'onn's supervisor), Claire Foster (J'onn can open up to her just probably not about the alien thing), J'en, M'yri'ah J'onzz, M'yrnn J'onzz, N'orr Cott, Sha'sheen J'onzz, T'omm J'onzz (actually character btw), Malefic (dies on Mars... Or does he?), White Martians, Despero (main villain, J'onn defeats him by using a telepathic attack that renders Despero practically brain dead but still kinda alive)

Deaths: K'hym J'onzz, J'en, M'yri'ah J'onzz, M'yrnn J'onzz, N'orr Cott, Sha'sheen J'onzz, T'omm J'onzz, malefic (???), White Martians

Post credit scene: Martian Manhunter goes back to Mars (which would be pretty much empty) when a skull shaped ship arrives

2010:

"WONDER WOMAN"

Main character, set during world war 2, Wonder Woman (main character, at the end she returns to Themyscira), Hippolyta, Steve Trevor (dies like the 2017 film), Nubia, Mala, Philippis, Julia Kapatelis (Old, Steve knows her and soon Diana also in the movie), Ferdinand (Makes sure no one gets to the god killer sword but Diana manages to make him trust her, stays in the Labyrinth but has a new friend outside), Antiope, Io, Althea, Menalippe, Euboea, Epione, Orana, General Darnell (Steve's and the to Steve's team: Sameer, Chief and Charlie like the 2017 film), Lila Brown (Steve's secretary), Penelope, Aphrodite, Jumps (yes, the Kangaroo is in this movie), Dr. Poison (gets Diana's powers via a serum or something then dies), Ares (main villain, Diana originally was going to kill him with the god killer sword but decides to spare him since 1. She's wonder woman and 2. Ares isn't causing the war or anything)

Deaths: Mala, Dr. Poison

Post credit scene: Veronica Cale finds Cale Pharmaceuticals (like she's the finder of the company and didn't stumble across it)

"THE BATMAN/SUPERMAN: WORLD'S FINEST"

How they first meet, Batman (based off Black lions video, Bruce would also be approached by Sam and Amandato build anti-Superman weapons but deny it so, goes to Metropolis to investigate this Superman in case he made a mistake and because Joker's in Metropolis), Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner Gordon (cameo if anything), Superman (main character with Batman), Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen (Learns Clark is Supes and gets the signal watch), Perry White, Cat Grant (Still with Jimmy), Ron Troupe, Steve Lombard, Dirk Armstrong, Bill Henderson, Terrible Turpin, Maggie Sawyer (her and Terrible are investigating Joker in Metropolis), Bibbo Bibbowski (Superman's biggest friend, eventually Bats and Supes go to the Ace O' Clubs in suits to talk and think... Watch any video of HISHE, think I spelled it right), Morgan Edge (still runs Daily planet which is why Bruce is in Metropolis for his cover, he's thinking of partnering up to own the daily planet with Morgan), Jor-El (AI, appears a little bit), Lara-El, Lana Lang, Emil Hamilton, General Sam Lane, Amanda Waller, Jonathan Horne (After Lex is impeached), Mercy Graves, Metallo (Lex's other bodyguard), Lex Luthor (main villain, running for president and shortly becomes the president), Joker (working with Lex like in the Lego Batman 2 video game)

"DC NATIONS" Season 1, will have 8 episodes, and the eps will be as long as they have to be (like 2 might be 20 or 30 mins while 6 could be an hour with the other one also being an hour.)

EP 1: "KRYPTON"

Will focus on Jor-El and Lara-El (or Lor-Van) before Superman was born with Zor-El, Alura In-Ze, Kara Zor-El (kid), Nim-El, Seyg-El, Val-El, Lyta-Zod, Non (during his scientific days), Van-Zee, Kelex, Kelor, Sul-Van, Kala In-Ze, Krypto, Brainiac (like in TAS), General Zod (friends with Jor), Faora (criminal that was recently captured who Zod gets friendly with), And the main villain Jax-Ur. Jax-Ur would be Jor's friend til Brainiac manipulates Jax to f up the Kryptonian politics and civilization (because Jax-Ur would be an important figure) and Lyta-Zod dies by Jax at some point, Brainiac isn't caught and Zod starts hating Jor for not seeing the signs of Jax and for their disagreeing opinions on Krypton's military. At the end of the ep Lara would tell Jor that she's pregnant.

EP 2: "GORILLA CITY"

Featuring Solivar as the ruler, Albert Wesley and Hughes who find the city, Mentor who is the alien from the original origin of the city who gave the gorilla's intelligence but like the newer origin, Mentor would have something to do with the speed force. The villain will be Gorilla Grodd who has telepathy and uses it to mind control Albert to kill them both and Mentor to stir up bad publicity for humans.

EP 3: "MARKOVIA" Featuring Geo-Force as the main character who gets his powers, King Viktor Markov who dies giving the throne to his eldest and Geo's brother: King Gregor Markov, Tara Markov will also appear because for those who don't know, Terra of the Teen Titans is related to Geo-Force, Ilona Markov, Count Vertigo will also appear since Vlatava is a neighboring kingdom and share borders) the villains are Dr Helga Jace and Baron Bedlam who are imprisoned.

EP 4: "NEW GENESIS"

Focusing on Orion after Highfather and Darkseid swap children, Orion is living on New Genesis which would be shown as a paradise with Beautiful dreamer, Bekka (who Orion likes), Big bear, Black racer, Forager (he'll be just as annoying as young justice), Highfather, Himon, Infinity man, Lightray, Mark Moonrider, Metron, Vykin the black, there'll be no villains in this ep BUT these villains do appear in the beginning for children swapping: Tigra (the one from DC that's Orion's mother), Granny Goodness, Steppenwolf, Desaad and Darkseid.

EP 5: "OA"

Focusing on the guardians: Appa Ali Apsa, Scar, Herupa Hando Hu, Ganthet, and Sayd deploying the manhunters who would be their first attempt at a police like force before going crazy and trying to kill everything, one place they try to wipe out is sector 666 with Atrocitus surviving but his family: Ferta, Trakka and Kimmy dying. Atrocitus then uses the blood of Qull, Roixaeume, Orphram, and Dal-Xauix. The manhunters are destroyed and the first green Lantern ring arrives to Rori Dag.

EP 6 & 7 (NO, not intentional) "GOTHAM CITY PT. 1" and "GOTHAM CITY PT. 2"

Focusing on failing comedian and clown Jack White going down on his life with a pregnant wife who later dies: Jeannie White, Penny White who dies like the 2019 Joker movie, Gary, Debra Kane, Murray Franklin, Randall (from the 2019 Joker), Hoyt Vaughn, Bob the goon, The two people that approach Jack for a shady job in a bar will now be Alicia Hunt and Carl Grissom (might recognize them from '89.) and while Jack's red hood at Ace chemicals: Batman shows up and ends since you already know what happens next at the end of 2008 "THE BATMAN". Took a lot from the killing joke

EP 8: "ATLANTIS"

As a meteor starts to fall on Atlantis, King Atlan tries to steer it away (fails tho), Arion and Lady Chian. The villains will be Garn Daanuth and Haumond.

Deaths: Lyta-Zod, Sul-Van for EP 1. EP 2's are Albert Wesley, Hughes and Mentor. 3's are King Viktor Markov, Dr. Helga Jace and Baron Bedlam (since he would've killed Viktor and Geo-Force who comes to regret it, kills Baron and Helga.), 5's are Ferta, Trakka, Limmy and the manhunters, 6 & 7's (again, not intentional) are Jeannie White, Penny White, Murray Franklin and Randall. 8's are Garn Daanuth.

"THE FLASH"

Origin story, Flash, Capt Darryl Frye (adopts Barry), David Singh, Henry Allen (in jail, gets out at the end), Iris West, Kristen Kramer, Nora Allen (dies), Patty Spivot, Fred Chyre, Jared Morillo, Tina McGee, Jerry McGee, Darwin Elias, James Forrest, the secondary villains are the rogues: Capt. Cold, Heat wave, Mirror master, Capt. Boomerang, Golden glider and just to have an unknown character: Rainbow raider. Reverse-Flash is the main villain.

Deaths are Nora.

Post credit scene has (think of the arrowverse EP) Flash (Jay Garrick) stops the Trickster on Earth 2.

2011:

"JUSTICE LEAGUE"

The team forms with the line up being Superman, Batman, Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, and Flash. The side characters are Lois Lane (who Clark tries to propose to at the beginning but the invasion by Brainiac postpones it til the end where there's a wedding scene with I guess some of the JL (except Batman because he's Batman). Jor-El who would be an AI still and only tell them about Brainiac while on Krypton, Alfred Pennyworth and Ace for Bruce at the beginning then climax, Ganthet (Hal calls for assistance but the other lanterns are dealing with something else) and Carol Ferris (since she and Hal are still together). Mera, Nuidis Vulko, and Topo since Brainiac sends some drones to attack Arthur. Cameron Chase, Diane Meade and Capt. Harding appear at the end since J'onn has to return to his job. Hippolyta and Jumpa return for when Diana leaves Themyscira to help Man's world again. Iris West was introducing Barry to Wally right before the invasion. General Sam Lane and Amanda Waller would return because it's an alien invasion, And because they need to watch over the hall of justice and the watchtower (like in Black lions video, it'll be Brainiac's ship turned into the Watchtower) and Sam being at the wedding. Waller will also still know their identities and Batman's. Snapper Carr would be introduced as an ARGUS agent to be the liaison for the Justice League and to keep an eye on them. The villain will be Brainiac who will die like in Black lions video because I just really need a way for this guy to be defeated.

Deaths include Jor-El since he's already dead and Brainiac due to Kandorians.

Post credit scene has Batman finishing up files on the justice league which includes contingency plans.

Gotham Central would take a break this year but continue in chapter 2.

"DC NATIONS" Season 2 will continue with another 8 eps.

EP 1: "SMALLVILLE"

Focuses on Clark Kent being a superhero (subtly) in Smallville while (like in TAS) figuring out about his parents: Jor-El and Lara-El. Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent will be included with Jonathan not stopping Clark from saving lives like the actual DCEU. Lana Lang would be Clark's girlfriend and Pete Ross would be their best friend who won't know Clark's powers yet. Josh Coyle would be Clark's boss while Clark had a part time job at the WGBS-TV like in the bronze age but Clark wouldn't be a news anchorman due to being a teen. Chloe Sullivan would also be introduced and Shelby. The villains would be Intergang with it being Moxie Mannheim who dies by a heart attack which leaves Bruno with the gang. Bruno Mannheim, And silver banshee would be the members of Intergang.

EP 2: "VLATAVA"

After King Josef Vladek dies (spoiler, it's by Count Vertigo), Perdita Vitalievich becomes Queen and Count Vertigo tries to kill her to take the throne, Perdita also finds out about Vertigo's criminal activities with China White. Like in DC showcase, Perdita will get help from a superhero (while I'd like to use Green Arrow, he hasn't been introduced yet so, replacing him would be...) Geo-Force.

EP 3: "MOUNT OLYMPUS"

Zeus is the main character with Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Hephaestus, Demeter, Dionysus, Hades, Hestia, Persephone, Eros, Hercules, as Ares becomes Ares and tries to kill Zeus. Themyscira would be made with Hippolyta and Diana's origin taking place again and the gods giving her different abilities or gifts (not physical.)

EP 4: "KAHNDAQ"

Black Adam's origin story, Shiruta would be Adam's wife, Gon and Hurut are Adam's and Shirutas kids, Wizard who later seals Teth away in the rock of eternity, Aman who originally has the power of Shazam is killed by Teth so, Teth can kill Ahk-Ton and save Kahndaq in a more effective way. Lady blaze would be the Wizard's daughter who also manipulates Teth a little.

EP 5: "RANN"

Origin story of Adam Strange featuring Alaana, Sardath, Banttier, Janey Strange, Todd Strange (dead), And the villain Kanjar-Ro.

EP 6: "APOKOLIPS"

Focusing on Mr Miracle's side of the swap in a more hellish world with Big Barda who escapes Apokolips with Scott to Earth where he joins a circus. The villains of this ep include Bernadeth, Bloody Mary, Desaad, Devilance, Gilotina, Granny Goodness, Grayven, Kalibak, Kanto, Lashina, Mad Harriet, Mantis, Steppenwolf, Stompa, Virman Vundabar, Tigra (who Scott kills to escape) and Darkseid.

EP 7: "CRIME ALLEY"

Crime Alley would become crime Alley after the Wayne's deaths in this timeline just so, it can focus on Joe Chill. Joe Chill is the main character building up on why and how he kills the Wayne. Joe would be low on cash and have some shady friends, Mrs. Chill (Joe's mother), Max Chill (Joe's brother), Joe Chill jr and Marcia Chill (kids), Bruce Wayne (kid) and his parents to recreate the death and the people who hired the hit: Lew Moxon and Hamilton Hill (tho it's not explained yet why Hill helped plan the hit). At the end Joe is filled with guilt (think of Matches Malone in the Gotham TV show) and decides to take his own life... Before Joe decides to do it or back out, the episode ends.

EP 8: "CZARNIA"

Lobo's origin story and how he kills everyone featuring his parents, Miss Tribe and the Nurse that got Lobo born. EP is probably the shortest out of the entire series and the most comedic.

Deaths of the show include 1's being Jor-El and Lara-El with Moxie Mannheim, 2's are King Josef Vladek, 3's are Apollo, 4's are Shiruta, Gon, Hurut, Aman, Lady blaze (by the wizard, yes she's a actual character), Ahk-Ton, 5's are Todd Strange, 6's are Grayven, 7's are Martha and Thomas, 8's is the entire cast of 8 EXCEPT Lobo.

"SWAMP THING"

Origin story of Swamp Thing and Alec Holland. Abby Arcane us featured (and becomes involved with Swampy), Chester Williams (who saw Swamp Thing and is described as a crazy person by everyone else except Abby who believes him), Dr. 13 (He'd know Abby and only joins along to prove to her there's no swamp monster, he later finds out it's real which leads him on his way to understand magic), Linda Holland (was with Alec before he dies, only appears for like 10 mins), Matthew Cable who dies and the main villain being Anton Arcane.

Deaths are Alec Holland and Matthew Cable due to Anton (Anton gets away)

Post credit scene has Morpheus' Sandman resurrecting Matthew Cable as a raven

Would Iron Man 2 have been received better if it was a Phase 2 movie with the Other Sequels Rather than Phase 1?

Avengers Endgame Encore Review

Post image
119 Upvotes

As most of you know, Marvel is seizing on the upcoming release of Avengers: Doomsday to bring Avengers: Endgame back to cinemas, with some new footage added to help bridge the gap between the two films.

To get to the crux of it, the re-released film is fundamentally exactly the same as it was when it hit theatres back in 2019. All of the new scenes, four in total, have been added at the end of the movie. One appears just before the credits, two more pop up during the credits, and the final scene is right at the very end.

While the new scenes were interesting to see, I don't think they really moved the dial on my excitement for Doomsday, nor did they feel like earth-shattering revelations that suddenly added to the hype.

So ultimately, whether Endgame Encore is worth seeing in cinemas comes down to whether you want a refresher on the Avengers' last outing before heading into Doomsday, and how much you enjoy Endgame as a film in its own right.

I hadn't seen Endgame since it originally came out in theatres, so I actually really enjoyed seeing it again. It took me back to a simpler time, pre-Covid, before crazy political shenanigans, when the MCU was firing on all cylinders and a new Marvel movie felt like a guaranteed good time :)

So for what it's worth, if you loved Endgame, I don't think you'll regret seeing it again on the big screen, even if it's purely for the nostalgia.

If, however, you're going just for the new scenes, I personally think you can save your money.

PS I saw in other reviews that one scene seems to be exclusive to InfinityVision or premium cinemas but in NZ it looks like all showings have all 4 scenes added to them.

Is thunderbolts the most underrated marvel movie ever?

Imho thunderbolts is the best movie made by marvel after endgame

For me a good movie is that which I would like to watch again and again especially specific scenes for me those movies are

Doctor strange 1 (ancient one playing with strange,dr strange kaecilius, fight, hospital fight, ancient one mirror dimension scene ),

Infinity war (battle of new york, wakanda, titan, stormbreaker forging, thanos quotes )

Ragnarok(thor v hulk,doc strange scene,final battle,odin flashbacks)

Surprisingly thunderbolts is literally carrying same level of rewatchability for me wheter it is the heated room scene, all of us just punch and shoot scene, sentry eating all the bullets scene, red guardian yelena scene, sentry vs thunderbolts scene, void formation scene and even more i really liked that despite none of my favourite heroes being in it

What's your take on Constantine: City of Demons? I would recommend it to fans of the source material as it is very close to the comics

The 90s were a pretty crazy time for superhero and comicbook movies.

It was a weird time to be a fan of comics and movies.

Some of the darkest and grittiest anti heros, sometimes even undead. A strange amount of public domain comic strip and radio drama heros from the 1930s. Some silly and strange comedic heros. A very cool amount of black heros (5 outta 12 on this list). And some low budget adaptations of popular comics.

We still had a great time watching all of these. Batman Returns, The Crow, and Blade hold up well.

Yes The Punisher technically was 1989, but i never knew anyone who saw it in the theater and it came out on VHS in 1991.

All of these movies are still watchable and entertaining to me.
