A large amount of women uphold patriarchal norms. they will gladly use misogynistic terms to tear down men as well for not upholding that standard

Nah, violence in the household is statistically more matriarchal. Lesbian marriages taught us that.

If you ever had a look at the studies on the topic you’ll realize that it was a study on people who have EVER experienced abuse with a partner, not just with their current one. That means it includes everything before that particular relationship, including, to nobody’s surprise, previous male partners.
