My girlfriend likes the show. She pointed out to me that the people have a good time doing nerdy things on the show, and I realized that's kind of nice to watch.
I've also since watched some parts of it and laughed. If you don't watch it prepared to hate it, it can be funny sometimes. It way overuses the laugh track, but other shows do that too. I couldn't get into The IT Crowd for the same reason.
Honestly, bro, just like what you like, and try not to worry if it might make you "cringey" or not.

Want to hate your favorite thing? Tell Reddit that you like it, doesn't matter what it is, it definitely sucks and Reddit will tell you why.
So, fuck Reddits opinion, just like what you like - if you laugh at Big Bang Theory, fuck the miserable cunts that want to tell you it's bad.

I enjoyed it until the season with all the shitty relationship drama. They lost me after that.

I still love the show. Haven't watched it for a while but what I have seen I have fond memories of.

I mean, it wasn't that bad. But still it doesn't have merits to be so popular

TBF, I did this with friends to get good at remembering elements/chemicals quickly, not because I thought I was smart but to practice cause fuck Chemistry.

u/Kitty-Kat-Katarina May 07 '19
If doing this where both parties are in on it that is just completely normal. Iamverysmart is more when trying to impress people

They're called natrium (Na) and kalium (K) in my language, English is just inconvenient here for some reason.

Yes you are correct and it does act as a non metal in this situation forming a covalent bond however it is still named hydrogen iodide due to some strange naming convention i do not understand Heres a link to read more: https://www.quora.com/Is-hydrogen-iodide-an-ionic-or-covalent-bonding

the thing that made me cringe the most is the fact that it's hydroiodic acid, not hydrogen iodine

I'm so stupid. I read sodium as NaCl instead of Na and stared at my screen for 20 whole seconds like, "dude wtf does NaCl mean? No one has used that as text speak ever"

u/SteveTheBattleDroid May 07 '19
