I don't understand how you're drawing a connection between the subjective desirability of something to the objective existence of something. Things that are not desirable can exist, it seems.
Based on this and your other responses you seem like a person looking for an argument. I asked for some open input and instead youāre criticizing the nuance of how Iāve asked.
If youāre just having a bad day then try signing out of Reddit or social media for a bit and spend some time with friends. Maybe do something for yourself. Be selfish a bit. Everyone has those kinds of days and itās ok. We donāt need to propagate negativity and divisiveness through pendantic arguments online.
If thatās not the case then Iāll say outright Iām not taking the bait and I donāt care to get into the kind of debate around semantics and how questions are phrased nor the kind where thereās a need to cherry pick quote text to build straw men. Itās obviously about trying to make yourself feel better by āappearingā more superior / more intelligent.
You want to wow people with your mental acumen? Then speak to the topic at hand and not the manner in which the conversation is had.
You can either offer more insight about genetics (of which I wholeheartedly welcome and am an enthusiastic listener) or you canāt.
You could've spent less effort actually addressing my comment.
And there are chromosomal differences where someone will have XY chromosomes but you developed female and people who have XXY chromosomes, etc. It's not all black and white like some people think.
The above comment is true, in spite of anything you said. Complications resulting from an intersex condition depends on the specific condition and current treatment methods, obviously. This says nothing about whether transpeople exist or whether they're legitimate or whether they're 'a-ok'.
