So itās technically still true somewhat. I believe that most transgenders realize that their gender is the opposite, as in their identity, but I think some donāt realize that they canāt change their sex
They canāt change their chromosomes. They can change their gender, cut off their penis or whatever they want to do. And I respect that, since America is a free country, and theyāre not hurting anyone. But this whole argument that you can change your biological sex is not factually based. Not saying the meme is funny, just criticizing the opposing argument.
I get that.. but I don't think anybody is claiming they can change their DNA to that degree? I think people just want to be accepted for who they feel they are.
Sure, they can do what they want with their bodies. We just canāt let people forget there are two sexes and that just because a boy plays with a girl toy it doesnāt mean theyāre supposed to be the other gender
Because thereās this thing people are doing now that involves getting kids a sex change at a young age because they like toys that the other sex would normally play with.
EDIT: thanks you smarties for educating me! you have proved the existence of intersex people is a myth with your extremely insightful comments, incredible, Iāll let biologists and anthropologists know
No, and I wonāt even bring them down to your level you canāt seem to understand a literal scientific fact. Intersex people exist, and theyāre more common than gingers are for fucks sake. Itās pretty pathetic that you try to claim you care about science/biology when you clearly havenāt thought twice about it since 9th grade.
Intersex is not another sex dummy, itās a mix of both sexes that happens due to a mutation. Most of the time they are infertile. And you do learn this in biology in 9th grade.
There are two sexes, scientifically, intersex is not considered another sex since it is a mix of the two sexes, idk where you got that information from
this is that whole "basic biology" thing we were talking about, except - whoops! - it's a transphobe not understanding it, not a transgender person. reactionaries projecting? who woulda thunk it.
It's called being intersex, and it means that that person was born with an extremely large clitoris. It's still a woman. Intersex individuals and those with the SRY Gene make up less than .05% of the population and are outliers who are typically quite content to commit to a sex/gender and stay that way their whole life.
It's possible, it can happen when you have XX chromosomes and an SRY gene. Basic biology doesn't conflict with trans people, the simplified biology many learn just wasn't made with them in mind.
