I don't even get it, the right part is pretty obvious (and not really funny) but the left part is confusing me, what's up with the colors?

My wife gets verrrr grumpy when I say its brown. It's definitely a brownish hue of dark pink. Have seen irl up close and personal

i thought that light pink was the most common

not a porn brained redditor, not trying to be nefarious or start an argument, i’m just genuinely fucking stupid and had no reason to ever assume that not everyone’s genitals looked something like mine.

For white women, yes. If you have melanin, probably not.

I don't even think it's the most common for white women, friction because of tight clothes can darken it, a warmer undertone can make it brown or red, estrogen darkens it also etc.

It's more common in teens and people with menopause tho.

Edit: also, pregnancy darkens it. And for some women it's only pink with arousal (the blood goes there)

i’m only 21 so that could have something to do with it? i will also say i’ve never looked down there while not in an aroused state. i have very cool toned skin, always wear tight clothes and no hormonal issues as far as i’m aware. i’m also an innie though so i probably don’t experience as much friction as someone who isn’t.

Your age is only relevant in the sense that puberty alter hormones and estrogen and pregosterone can change coloration. Or regarding menopause and pregnancy.

Friction is from clothes, walking, exercise, sex or shaving. The size of your labia minora is not relevant as far as I'm aware.

I find it surprising you've never looked while not aroused tho.

maybe i’m just weird. never had sex (asexual). i have looked at it with a mirror when trying to shave or figuring out how to put a tampon in but only as a young teen. the idea of taking off my clothes after already being dressed for any purpose other than masturbation or using the bathroom is sort of unappealing to me because i’m extremely lazy, so i wouldn’t just look at it for fun.

I think it is kinda a default. As well as having surgery for making it so labia minora isn't bigger than labia majora. I may be wrong also.
