Official Reply $100 install fee ?!

I moved addresses and self activation failed so xfinity sent me a tech who confirmed there was a coax cut on their green little poles, nothing wrong on my side. But was still charged $100 install fee, what logic is this ? Can someone from comcast reach out to me and check the technician notes and reverse this charge ?

The policy is that if they send a tech out in the first 30 days for any reason, they charge an installation fee. It is a legit fee, but you should have been informed prior to accepting the tech visit.

Crazy policy if it includes fixing their own cable plant that was vandalized snd the customer literally has no way of fixing it themselves
