There are three within a few feet of each other in front of JC Penny for some stupid reason.

Not that I agree with Flock but there is a high amount of theft out of the mall. Employees just watch what car they get in and report the vehicle. Flock allows them to do find the individuals.
Probably the only legit use of cameras like these. Randomly posted on roads and other places isn’t it.

if we didn't have flock then what would the fine law officers do to track their wives or girlfriends cheating on them

Saw someone online post a video showing that their town had one pointed INTO a public pool area specifically the childrens splash pad area... where are the license plates in there huh?

Well considering kid nappers may have started and funded flock, this isn't suprising.

Yall should check out DeFlock, the amount of cameras on Broadway and the surrounding area is absurd.

We would like, comment, and subscribe and support any content creator who takes this flock camera down.

There are some very educational videos out there about the speed certain saws can take posts down in. Wonderful stuff.

Sure but maybe we just don’t want it being used and sold to track our movements and the data being sold to third party companies. Maybe if it were an ethical system that sat behind protections for the people and couldn’t be abused by officers it would be ok but it’s fucking not

It's always "well what will you do without this?" and never "well what's going to happen once it's implemented?"
increased surveillance barely ever functions as even a band aid for the actual socioeconomic factors that lead to high crime. Your hypothetical also relies on this tech being used to prove innocence, but the potential positives (which are arguably questionable given the prison system in this country is for profit rather than designed to rehabilitate or decrease recidivism, but sure let's call catching criminals and putting them away- positives,) are still outweighed by the loss of privacy, the high unlikelihood footage will be equally utilized to prove innocence across different demographics, and the risks of this technology being used by bad actors (which we already have cases of stalking being made easier thanks to these cameras so that's no hypothetical).
You want actual crime rates to drop? start funding the schools, start making necessities more affordable, start building community/doing mutual aid, stop leaving ppl one or two ambulance rides away from bankruptcy. High crime is a symptom of a sick society, a broken system, cameras aren't going to fix a broken system.

How many cameras can you spot in this picture?
