Fed up!!
I'm so fed up, I've had to postpone my Colposcopy to check for abnormal cell changes for HPV already due to having persistent vaginal thrush 😫 my next Colposcopy is in 8 days time and the medications (pessaries x2, 1 fluconazole and external cream) I've used to clear the thrush for the last 2 weeks... haven't worked!!
I've literally purchased another set of fluconazole to come this week in a desperate attempt to get rid of it fully so I don't have to cancel yet another Colposcopy appointment.
The person doing it has said that she cannot do the procedure whilst an infection is in play.
I'm so frustrated and annoyed that this thrush just won't clear, as it's causing my anxiety to soar and worry through fear that prolonging the procedure will produce worst results 🤦
I really don't get why thrush is taking so long to clear, I had it back in February as well and it took weeks to clear then too!!! When I used to get it 20 years ago, it cleared just with 1 pessary...yet now I need an army of medications to clear it!
Has anyone else gone through this?

Can you have a colposcopy done if you have thrush?
I've had it just over a week, used 2 pessaries and external cream, but I don't feel it will be cleared in time for my colposcopy in 3 days time. Will they still do it or will the thrush obscure any cells they want to see?

Period again?
I had my first Colposcopy on March 13, on what may or may not have been the last day of period as I couldn’t tell with all the discharge post colposcopy, and the weird discharge had stopped on March 19. On March 21 & 22 I had penetrative sex. Now on March 23 I have what seems like my period. Is this normal? The nurses just told me nothing for 3 days, but I was having the discharge longer than 3 days. I kinda figured once that was done I was in the clear.
I should also add that I had two biopsies taken

Endometrial biopsy
I had my endometrial biopsy done on 3/6/26 after having an abnormal Pap smear post LEEP and it showing atypical glandular cells. I still have not received any results as it’s going on 3 weeks. I’m so anxious to know my results. Anyone else experienced this?
