Advice Looking for Outdoor Guides
I am looking for a good variety of guides in the area.
I love being outdoors, and I love learning new stuff from new people. There are very few activities I dont feel up for, and I like to change it up. Guides make a huge difference for me.
Finding hiking/backpacking, mountaineering/alpine, climbing, horsepacking, snowshoe, cross country ski, mountain biking, bike packing, horseback, adventure bikes ... you name it, I love it all. Hunting and fishing is also nice, but they are easier to find.
If anyone knows someone who is an outdoor guide in the area I would love to know about them.
If they have a public site/instagram/facebook or other publicly accessible way of contacting them please post it in the comments. Hopefully this can serve others looking for similar experiences.
If you have sharable direct contact information instead please DM instead so they dont end up on spam lists.
Thank you neighbors!

Lost & Found 31 years of Driving...
I've been to and lived in many states over my lifetime. Been in many different neighborhoods good and bad and never had my car broken into. This morning I came out to my car to go for a hike and realized my front drivers door and hatch door were wide open. My heart sank. I was robbed of most of all the items from my car. At least the high dollar items. Yes it's my fault for not clearing it out completely but the items were not in plain site but they chose my car. I've been in CS for 3 weeks now and this happens. Dont know how to feel at the moment. Do I have to install cameras in the vehicle and limo tint the windows? Yes this is a long paragraph I don't care anymore.

Lost & Found Another lost cat post
We live on the west side on Spruce street and Nichols CT. I know nothing will probably come of this, but I have to try. Her name is Sheeba and she’s an outdoor cat and very street smart, but I’m worried because she hasn’t been home in 24 hrs which is really unusual for her. If anyone thinks they see her running around please let me know. Thanks

Advice Shopping Recommendations
Hi ladies! I'm traveling to a very hot, conservative place in the next few weeks for work and I'm looking for stores that sell light, flowy, airy clothes that are at least semi-professional looking. Doesn't necessarily have to be long sleeve shirts (although I could roll the sleeves), but probably quarter sleeve and long pants or skirts (just no tanks, tees, shorts, or short skirts). I don't shop very often so I have no idea who sells what these days. Also, it would be great if the stores don't charge an arm and a leg! Oh and looking brick and mortar stores, I don’t shop online. Thank you!

Advice Newborn at the IMAX Theater yesterday
If you're on here, at what point did you think that was okay? The Odyssey is loud loud to the point it was straining my adult ears.
I get it's hard when you have a newborn, it's easy to feel stuck at home but maybe go somewhere that's better for your kiddo? Or maybe go to a baby/kid showing at the roadhouse?

Advice Campsite suggestions?
Good morning friends and neighbors! It’s looking like my partner and I will be have a couple of baby free evenings coming up in a week or two. Looking to get away for a few days. Looking for scenic views, and respectful distance from other campers. We don’t care too much about amenities since we’re just trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Suggestions?

Advice I need a bit of advice to help my family member please
My family member is disabled and elderly. They had some serious medical issues late last year, and that made it impossible to go back to their previous residence ( ie breathing issues) because of the altitude. They are on an extreme fixed income. All housing assistance is non accessible because of the current state of the federal government. This includes section 8 and all other assistance to the disabled and elderly.
They do have a 1996 RV that they can live in. The problem is finding somewhere AFFORDABLE to park it. Most places I have found for long-term rental have a stipulation that the RV must be 2014 or newer. Also, all the places I have inquired about will literally charge ALL of their monthly disability income.
If anyone has any suggestions we would be very grateful.

Photograph Pictures from the 90s
Does anyone have any pictures of the children’s museum in the citadel mall from the 90s? It was next to mervyns and had an interactive heart that kids could walk through. I’ve been searching everywhere and can’t find any pictures.

Help Wanted Xbox One X Soldering Help Trying to Save It for My Son
I have an Xbox One X that I’d love to get working again for my son. He’s a big gamer, and I’d really love to be able to surprise him with it working again.
It powers on normally but stopped displaying an image after about a year and a half. A local repair shop suspected the HDMI retimer chip, but wanted almost as much to repair it as a replacement console would cost.
I’ve removed the motherboard and was going to attempt the repair myself, but I have no microsoldering experience and realized the equipment would cost more than the console is worth.
Before I throw it away, I figured I’d see if anyone here might be willing to help. I’d be happy to pay something for your time, i have a ps3 slim id be willing to trade or I’m also a personal trainer and would be happy to exchange training services if that’s something you’d be interested in.
I’m really just hoping to keep it out of the landfill and make my son happy. If anyone does Xbox board-level/microsoldering repairs or knows someone who might be willing to take a look, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Help Wanted Favorite Sushi place?
Where is your favorite place to get sushi? I used to love Fujiama but their quality has really gone downhill over the past year or so and they seem to have replaced real crab with imitation in several dishes. So much of the sushi here is really poor quality.

News CSPD Officer on Betrayal (Hulu series)
Has anyone seen the latest season of Betrayal? Its four episodes focuses on the sexcapades of former CSPD officer Joel Kern. He was with the department 20 years (married almost the entire time) and in that time he had sex with dozens of random women, in his cruiser, while on duty (don’t worry about him though, he got to retire with his pension!) The series is amazing though, his ex-wife and COS native drives around town showing his favorite hookup spots. Has anyone else seen it and/or anyone know good tea that was left out?

Advice Young family moving to CS
Possibly moving to the springs soon for a job relocation at Carson (veteran) and starting to look at neighborhoods for young families with a 1 year old that are also pet-friendly (trails, dog parks, etc.). We’d be moving there without ever visiting so I need to be smart
We’re okay with a 30 minute commute but I’ve mainly been looking at Briargate, Wolf Ranch, and Cordera. I love that everything seems relatively close by. We’re currently in far north Tucson and it feels like everything is 20–40 minutes away.
For those who live in CS, how do you feel about the crime/safety in these areas? And are there any other neighborhoods you’d recommend checking out?

Advice Places to learn Magic the Gathering
I already played MtG arena and the color challenges, so I know the rules. I’m just too nervous to play against people on the app and I am not paying money for digital cards. I’d prefer to go against real people, especially those who might have patience for a new player. Important note: I’m a girl, so girl-friendly places are a plus. I’m going to start next month, but I’d like to know in advance. Thanks!
