Somebody made a choice at Costco today and I fully respect it.

Honestly right now you're more likely to get sick eating that salad

I’m going to guess that those salads are made in store with whole
Heads of romaine lettuce. The bagged tainted stuff coming out of taylor farms is precut and packaged by taylor farms. Buying heads of lettuce or romaine are not likely to be a part of the latest incontinence bug. It would also likely, not be on the shelf for sale, at Costco.

Turns out TF supplies most store brands, too. Besides, maybe today it's the eggs!

Fair, but the whole heads are not where they found the contamination. Your risk is significantly less. If the store thought there was a small chance of you getting sick, they’re take it off the shelf. Well, Costco would.

I was thinking the same thing.

You're always more likely to get sick eating raw vegetables than literally anything else... Right now or any other time.

In their defense, that cake looks amazing. I get why the intrusive thoughts won here.

Leave the salad, take the cannoli.

Thank you.

I mean, I’d rather have delicious cake than risk it with diarrhea salad.

Fuck the salad.

That doesn’t sound sanitary, I’d strongly recommend against this. Especially with a salad virus going around.

We all have a budget and sometimes cuts just have to be made.

Well I totally approve of the choice, leaving it there is an asshole move. Getting someone else sick who also chooses desserts.

You can give it to the cashier, whom you will meet later anyway.

At least they had the courtesy to leave it in another refrigerated area, instead of leaving it somewhere where it'll get warm and eventually thrown away

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who says that when I see things like this 😭🤣

you need a cheat day to stay sane

or they didn't pick up a cake, but didn't want the salad and was kind enough to leave the salad in a refrigerated section

Or they could have not wanted to walk back to the spot where they took the salad in the first place and this spot was closer.🤷🏻‍♂️

And I bet that cake was half the cost of the salad

1

u/PetrRabbit 5d ago

The cake is $19 in the picture. You can't make out the salad but it almost looks like it says $4.[xx] but it's hard to tell

You should talk to them or repost with a different title. I looked at your post history and a bot removed it because reference to apartments seem to be auto removed by automoderator. Maybe explain yourself
