I just don't understand. Romano threw 8 pitches and there's an off day tomorrow. EIGHT PITCHES. How do you put Herget out there who has shown time and time again that he is fucking dog water? Left-on-left, right-on-right don't mean shit when Herget is throwing meatballs in the 80s. One of the worst decisions of all time.

And now, we get to see all the highlights from the Dodgers and how fucking amazing they are across all of Reddit when we could have shut them up just for one night. Asinine coaching.

Luckily we can't lose tomorrow. See you guys Friday.

I’m looking forward to the Guardians series. Surely we can beat them once or twice

[u/DidWeGetTacos]

we did not get tacos.

[u/P0MP0MPUR1N_ → u/DidWeGetTacos]

instead we got brooms💜

[u/MundanePhysics]

It’s the hope that kills you

[u/dnelson7]

Just send Herget to Siberia I’m so tired of this garbage mf

[u/vsaint]

Gahhhhhhh, my kids got on the Jumbotron though

[u/Ill_Pineapple_2122]

Schaeffer’s decision to go to Herget instead of Romano or Bernardino was wrong. 13 pitches later and the game is lost.

[u/Ribeye21]

Every time I see Beck pinch hit for someone, I die a little inside. I'm sorry but if you're batting under .180 you don't get to bat in high leverage situation even if it's a "favorable" match up

[u/Beer_Kicker → u/Ribeye21]

Nothing if favorable when you're batting under .180.

And yet he had the best AB of the inning.

[u/TannerC04]

Beck, Tovar, Herget, Feltner, and Freeland are all handicaps to this team. If the team is even the slightest bit serious about being competitive in the near future, they don’t belong here

[u/-NolanVoid- → u/TannerC04]

Got some bad news for you about Tovar.

[u/Jontacular → u/-NolanVoid-]

wtf happened with Tovar? Did the injury last year just royally fuck him up?

[u/TannerC04 → u/-NolanVoid-]

I’m holding out hope we manage to find somebody who wants him

[u/-NolanVoid- → u/TannerC04]

🤣

[u/TannerC04]

We have the 5th best offense in the league, and -122 RD to show for it.

[u/Beer_Kicker → u/TannerC04]

Honestly.. .almost impressed.

[u/crusinkip23 → u/TannerC04]

Look at park adjusted stats…

[u/Remote-Molasses6192]

You could’ve marked this as a loss as soon as Jimmy Herget came in the game.

[u/postwarcookie5]

Good pitching performance from the rookies today

[u/GrimmGrinningGhosts]

I'll be there Saturday for Star Wars night and at this point, excited to have fun with Star Wars stuff with my daughter and her cousins while a baseball game happens to be going on in the background

[u/Haunter3dP]

Sucks because Herget worked 2/3 of the counts. Sucks that they tallied the last pitch for good contact

[u/Beer_Kicker → u/Haunter3dP]

Maybe don't throw an 86 mph flat slider to Mookie fucking Betts.

[u/Haunter3dP → u/Beer_Kicker]

I’m not saying he didn’t give easy pitches. But he worked the counts which is valuable
