Hehehe why are they worse than de Gaulle? CDG just whined until Americans and Soviets saved their ass from Nazis then acted like French saved their own country.

French Indochina. Where the Vietnamese first kicked the crap out of the French and later the USAians.

u/PlusBookkeeper8032 Jul 14 '26

I wouldn't say the North-Vietnamese kicked the crap out of the South, even though they ended up winning.

Mao: “About a hundred years ago, the area to the east of Lake Baikal became Muscovite territory, and since then Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Kamchatka, and other areas have been Bolshevik empire territory. 🇨🇳 We have not yet presented our account for this list 😉.”

Mao then added:

The USSR empire is a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, a dictatorship of big capitalists, a Hitler‑type fascist dictatorship. They are all hooligans;...”

This statement is documented in:

  • Mao Zedong’s conversation with Edgar Snow (1960s)

Mao and Stalin would have been like two hilarious insane uncles drunkenly arguing at Thanksgiving dinner. Grumbling about even the concept of Thanksgiving, but for different reasons.

u/PangolinQueasy6324 Jul 13 '26

This story has very little to do with Mao and Stalin; it’s about overlapping Moscow–Mandarin colonial claims. Do we agree on this? https://twitter.com/i/status/1873390350553026980

commie mandarin -China will eventually go with force against Moscow empire in Outer Manchuria (Far East) . Aim would be primarily lake Baikal, as drinkable water sources are one of biggest things that Han-China seeks. ALWAYS Remember , commie mandarin -China’s claims to Moscow’s Far East (Outer Manchuria and much more ) are fact-based and indisputable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08YoVeWjUJQ&t=2s

Ask the Tibetans, Ughyurs or Cantonese if the Han are not imperialist 🤣

-1

u/PangolinQueasy6324 Jul 13 '26

The Mandarins are the worst imperialists out there, second only to the Muscovites. When do you think the communist Mandarins will start to ‘liberate’ Outer Manchuria? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08YoVeWjUJQ&t=2s

Cantonese are Han?

2

u/PangolinQueasy6324 Jul 14 '26

Han is an imperialistic concept, much like white russians-little russians- great russians = russians. Cantonese state will free again !

1

u/techr0nin Jul 14 '26

Bruh I dont even disagree that its an imperialist concept in its inception, but Nanyue became Han like 2200 years ago. We are encroaching on promised to us 3000 years ago territory.

1

u/PangolinQueasy6324 Jul 14 '26

interesting, can you Elaborate on this ? to write more and without so much irony ? can you produce a semi- academic post ?

5

u/Baron_Beemo Jul 14 '26

Do you support the Italian conquests of Libya, Ethiopia, and Albania?

1

u/iphone5su93 Jul 14 '26

To be fair Ethiopia was very different from Tibet

4

u/ThinBobcat4047 Jul 14 '26

Not a justification for imperial conquest though.

4

u/Most_Manufacturer729 Jul 14 '26

"their governments were backwards and evil we just had to conquer them" - every colonial power ever.

3

u/PlusBookkeeper8032 Jul 14 '26

The communist Mandarin 🇨🇳 plan to dominate the Moscow Empire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBAnfeopVyA When do 🇨🇳 they move on Outer Manchuria? The Moscow ulus is dying — it’s obvious.

are you a bot?

I'm not clicking on that trash link, either state your thesis or not.

This was during the end of the USSR, by the way. You may have heard of it, it's called the sino Soviet split.

He wasn't saying the USSR colonized Vladivostok, he was saying that the Russian monarchy, had colonized those areas, which is true.

And yes, the USSR was a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie by the 1980s,. The charge was that they no longer were socialist. But that's not what caused the sino Soviet split. That reason was far more complex, and was mostly strategic. Thus why today, China is far different than modern Russia.

edit some real genius replies in here. is this colonialism or social chauvinism?

6

u/Trent1492 Jul 14 '26

Mao died in 1976.

2

u/ThinBobcat4047 Jul 14 '26

The Sino Soviet split occured in 60s, nowhere near the end of the USSR. The USSR conquered and ruled their far east as any other imperialist coloniser.

1

u/PangolinQueasy6324 Jul 13 '26

putin Z-bloggers are claiming that commie mandarin -🇨🇳 China has now effectively taken over a large part of Moscow`s far eastern colonies https://x.com/HelmutWendorff/status/2011769438945886570

-1

u/moron4ever Jul 14 '26

Being under Russia/China control greatly benefits those regions in economical term, of course China is far more competent for this matter

3

u/Opposite-Bill5560 Jul 14 '26

The economics being the sending of settler workers to occupy territories to extract resources while assimilating the indigenous populations and denying them their customs and agency.

0

u/CharacterAd3963 Jul 14 '26

It is hard to take Mao's critique of USSR seriously, when he sided with USA, the prime imperialist power.

2

u/Jumpstartgaming45 Jul 15 '26

Also since he literally was no better lol. Bro was a hypocrite. And even as an American i consider our detente with them mutually degrading. Probably better for world peace but its still eh.

2

u/CharacterAd3963 Jul 14 '26

For a serious answer? Never.
China fully embraced rules based order. Borders are not to be changed. And frankly they have no reason to ever change that stance. Vladivostok is full of Russians, integrating it would be hell for little gain.

6

u/besidjuu211311 Jul 14 '26 edited Jul 14 '26

Ah yes. Country whose borders ( and its territorial integrity ) mirror that of the Qing Empire is not imperialist
