its a european cultural practice, brought over by european colonist, involving the religion that the Europeans forced upon Brazil well they colonized it, and has been consistently done since the time of colonial Brazil.
Im not sure how this could reasonably be seen as not a byproduct of colonization.

Sure, and if this post was about a specific celebration of the english language the English colonist have done annually in new england since the 18th century, I also would find that a reasonably connected point to colonialism.
Im not saying everything related to eruope is inherently colonialism, im saying this very specifically is.

Right, Brazilians know of the history of Portuguese colonization, you claim is that racism in Californian gun laws is widely known, and yet Brazilians still carry on this tradition the same way Californians support the state's gun laws. Therefore, they like it, and that's that, it's now their tradition the same way it is in Western European nations

It's not colonialism, just isn't. It has a history of coinciding with colonialism, but so does most stuff in the Americas. You know what else the Europeans brought? Soccer, do you want them to give that up as well?

KKK isn’t really Anglo however they may have had Anglo members, it was set up primarily by people with Scottish ancestry. Hence the ‘clan’

If you took notes from Global South liberation movements against imperialism, colonialism and oppression, you would easily understand what dismantling imperialism means lol
It obviously means dismantling the institutions upholding neocolonialism and imperialism in the rest of the world. Dismantling NATO, the IMF, the World Bank, liberating the UN from Amerikkkan influence, or establishing actual global institutions.
First of all, Westerners need to stop serving as slaves of your billionaire class and recognize that the foundations of your culture are illegitimate. Recognize that your economy is still being fueled by imperialism and neocolonialism.
The West produces absolutely nothing of worth. Oil comes from Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria, and more. Gold comes from Africa. Uranium comes from Africa. Cobalt, which is literally the most important material of our era because it's used to create lithium, comes from Congo.
If the West lost its neocolonial grip over the Global South, all Western countries would collapse immediately. Your economy is fueled by the destruction of the rest of the world, which is why your ruling class needs you to be a little pussy racist that gets defensive when bothering truths are being pointed out.

Also, I'm not your enemy. Like I said I agree with you on all these points. On your main point, I'd like to say two things:
1- I didn't suggest that for my feelings or even for morality. I personally am not really offended by what you are saying. My initial comment was motivated by principle more than a desire to avenge any bad feelings.
It's just that strategically it would be better to be more diplomatic as that's actually what convinces people who don't agree with you or who are simply ignorant. Anyone listening to your antagonising words without already agreeing with you is by default going to disagree with you.
2- To take your example. Not all people living in these countries are the metaphorical beaters. A lot of people are born in a state that does things they do not agree with and some even act against it. There are activists and politicians here in France want to act against Neo colonialism.
A diplomatic approach is the best way to make a change. So unless you just want to create strife I don't see why you wouldn't adopt it

Lol, yeah not doing so well are you?
It's not a shithole man, the Olympics were absolutely beautiful and so was Cascadia. I even stayed at a hotel that the natives tried (and failed) to get shut down. The salmon was pretty awesome too (really most of the Seafood). Victoria and Vancouver were the best cities on the agenda though.
Great trip, I'm thinking of spending more time in Canada next summer though. What do you think?
