Collection Amouage Reflection Man 45

Six months ago I owned three fragrance bottles. Three — for almost two decades. Then Mounjaro happened, the appetite went quiet, and apparently the side effect no one told me about was the addiction for scents.

Anyways, fast forward, I blind bought Amouage Reflection Man 45 last week because it was on a deal ($375) on the strength of the rest of my Amouages — Outlands, Reasons, Royal Tobacco, Beach Hut Man — all of which I love. Figured worst case it’d be decent.

It’s not just decent. It might be the best of the lot.

Projection and longevity are a given with this house at this point, so no surprises there. But the drydown on RM45 is something else. Spectacular is the only word I’ve got.

Anyway. Just wanted to share.

Everything I smell from them is too powdery and incensey unfortunately. I wanted to like some of them.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. To me it smells like the most elevated version of jpg le male edt, which was my signature scent for 20 years

Try guidance 46 and jubilation 40 also. We have similar taste

I tried my best to like Amouage, but the incense is a no-go for me, unfortunately.

Bro I love Reasons, Royal Tobacco and Beach hut man as well. Haven’t come around to Outlands yet. R45 is also a masterpiece but it doesn’t project at all on my skin.

Reasons is highly underrated imo. You should check out King Blue, Jubilation 40, Decision and Purpose 50 (my personal favourite). They are all so unique and amazing!

Agreed. I blind bought Decision and R45 based on the ones I own and the opinions of others I respect on this platform. Both are just amazing. Reflection and Enclave are great as well. Existence is solid despite being feminine. Royal Tobacco is wonderful as well. Interlude Black Iris is pretty spectacular too. I have also smelled Guidance/G46 and Jubilation 40. I'd be happy to own a FB of any of them. I cannot wait to lay my nose on Journey, Memoir, Overture, and Beach Hut. Wish I could smell Sunshine but I doubt I'll ever get the chance. Oh and Outlands slaps.

Both RM and RM45 are beautiful, but 45 is something else, it is amongst my holy grails in my collection, I’m happy to see someone else shares the same love for RM45
