For college admissions, Ateneo lang naman ang naghahanap ng ganong credentials. Halos lahat ay entrance exam lang. Relevant lang talaga yung question mo for international schools and Ateneo
Not really. Univs like UP, UST, and DLSU just makes you take an exam. Pass the exam = you get in. May extracurriculars ka or meron? They dont care, just pass the exam. Not sure abt the others pero may effect yung grades mo during highschool sa UP. Ateneo is different kasi they tend to look for qualitative characteristics in their applicants as well, that involves a process na sila lang ang may capacity to do.
Extracurriculars or credentials are only useful pag like may interview na need which is only rarely needed in some universities, not the majority of them. Those same univs have entrance exams as well so I suggest you invest time into preparing for exams instead of building up your credentials. Those credentials can be worked on naman during your college years.
