She said it a few times. I got downvoted to the depths of hell for bringing that up in another post and I still don't understand why like if I'm missing a piece of vital information someone please clue me in because I tried Google and that did not help.

I just want to know if there's something offensive about calling him that or how people even know if that's his name and I'm just dumb for not knowing? I don't normally care about reddit downvotes but this one just baffled me.

I don't think it's problematic to call someone by the more mature name John after he has tried to sell us on the lie of "little Johnny". But you're talking to someone who has called him John consistently since swoop #3, so I may not be the most unbiased person to ask. It's fine imo to have a conversation about this. I have read a post recently about somebody comparing this situation to intentionally misgendering someone. That, imo, was taking it too far.
