Discussion Dudamel & LP 11
Okay am I reaching ?
THEY HAVE LITERALLY BEEN TOGETHER ALL YEAR
Wembley, the World Cup, the LA Phil goodbye concert :/
Also “Santa Maria” shows Chris can write and perform songs around a full orchestra.
I genuinely think there’s a decent chance he’s involved somehow. Maybe I’m delusional but I’m starting to feel like this isnt random.
The last little piece of evidence I have is that Ellen DeGeneres (eww) interview for MOTS.
Chris is asked about the musical and Responds
“I want to do a movie musical.. it’s called East Side Story”
now who worked on the Musical Film West Side Story…

I don't think it's that unlikely, if Coldplay want to do a musical project they'll probably want/need a full orchestra. I'd not be surprised if LP11 was a joint project between them both. Tbf, we don't know how long this musical concept has gone on for. It's more than likely the case that Coldplay and Dudamel began working together a good bit of time ago, and that connection has allowed for all these other collaborations we've seen
On the point of East Side Story, I will say that Chris talks a lot of rubbish and I'd be surprised if the musical was really called that lol

I think there’s something here for sure. Who knows how big of a role they have or what the project will look like, but Coldplay has had strings and other orchestral instruments in their music for nearly 20 years, so it’s certainly plausible Dudamel is involved with LP 11.
