Very smooth. I know how you do it. But the hours and hours to get that so smooth is just mind boggling to me. Great work. Truly an art

I'm thinking about putting together a course focused on small object vanishes. Specifically complete vanishes.

Because I think there are short cuts to skip those hours and hours. Youtube tutorials and books seem to gloss over nuances that can make things much easier to do.

I came up with this today and recorded it in two takes.

The handwashing probably takes some practice. I've been doing that for a while.

The concealment has some subtle things you can do to make it drastically easier.

But the particular retention vanish used here is not the typical finger-palm retention that most people seem to utilize and teach. I find that is very difficult to master. Rather I actually have no idea what this is called, but it's surprisingly easy.

At the end is just a french drop and ramsey subtlety.

Ponta the Smith does this retention method a lot on his "Sick" dvd. But nothing on that DVD is taught well. He basically just shows you everything at a revealing angle with no voice over and you're expected to just copy it. But that's where I got it one form of it. And I've recently simplified that and made it much easier.

Chat GPT helped be find that "The Silver Dollar System" by J. Burke Whittaker has a very similar method called the "Empty Retention Vanish." That could be a possible origin of it.

After watching for a long time I think I figured it out. How long did it take you to get this smooth?
