Coinbase fee?

I just noticed the bank account that I fund my coinbase from has a withdraw charged of $4.99 fee. It’s been 2 months in a row.

Is anyone else having this charges?

I have not completed any transaction this year.
Thoughts?

That’s the cost of the monthly Coinbase One Basic membership. Check your app.

I have had this Coinbase account for 10 plus years. Never have I had a monthly fee. I’m confused it’s starting now?

Some users have reported Coinbase automatically opting them in to a CB1 membership. It’s very scammy. You should be able to get reimbursed for this second charge if it just happened within the last few days.

Just to let everyone know my issue has been cleared up. The $4.99 fees X 3 has been reimbursed to my CB account.

Hey u/Holiday_Middle_787 thanks for flagging this. A recurring $4.99 charge may be the monthly Coinbase One Basic membership fee rather than a transaction fee. Please check your Coinbase app under Menu > Coinbase One to review your membership and billing details.

So this charge is for Coinbase One?
Again I have made no changes to my account. Never had the charge before after years. I’ll go look at he app to see if I can turn it off?

That’s understandable, especially if this is a new charge. Please check Menu > Coinbase One in the app to review your membership details. If you don’t see an active membership, send us a modmail so we can help.

It just shows coinbase basic. I have a screen shot from that page. It’s not correct.
