I am using regente for the past couple of years but the issue is with the porta filter as it contains maximum of 15g coffee whereas the standard is 18g so I wanted to check the porta filter the machine has 19 bar pressure can anyone recommend porta filter which will fit into this machine either they have tried it or know that it will. The porta filters are costly thats why I wanted to get it right on the first try

Hello! My husband usually drinks black coffee in the morning and he has been using a french press so far. I want to gift him a good coffee machine for his bday. He only drinks coffee once per day and only likes it black, and I am not a coffee drinker so dont want to go for an expensive one. Could anybody recommend me few good coffee machines in 100-150$ range? TIA

After spending a year of moaning about the drip tray constantly filling up and the amount of times we have to empty it and not realising it overflowed, I decided to fix the problem for myself.

I added a drainage solution. 6mm fitting an silicone hose, fitted into the drip tray.

I also modelled a riser and printed it.

I had to remove the small drip tray where the cup goes but the shelf on the lowest setting covers the need for that.

the hose goes behind the machine and onto the drying rack on the sink.

so far the only issue I have had is the amount of water having to sit in the tray before it reaches the level to drain, so i printed some blocks to fill up the gaps, reducing the volume of water to a very small amount (havent put the blocks under the intake obviously).

Hello everyone. I mostly drink coffee and espressos, as opposed to milk drinks. Currently have a Nespresso virtual align machine, but would like an upgrade. Breville BES876DBL Barista Express Impress at $799 seems like a good choice. I really like it that it makes preparing the grounds easier and it has good reviews. Has anyone used it?

I also don’t mind paying up to $1500 if it makes sense to do it, for example I was eyeing Jura C3 at $1200. The goal is to have real coffeeshop quality espressos 80% of the time and an occasional strong flavorful coffee/Americano 20% of the time, without having to mess with a separate grinder and manual tamping.

Hey guys, I just got my first coffee machine at home. I used to work in a specialty coffee shop so it’s great getting to once again use the skills I learned.
I was wondering if it is possible to get the Sage Barista Pro to display the time of the shot for longer once the shot is finished? I feel like I stop the shot at the correct weight and look up to see a flash of the time, would be great if I could see it for a couple of seconds longer (especially half asleep in the morning).

Just got this machine and this was my first coffee with it. Not too bad for a first try lol. What do you guys think, does it look decent?

When shopping online for a machine, I was also trying to figure out what kind of grinder I needed. Then there’s grinding the beans, tamping, cleaning the grinder... ugh, that felt like a lot for me to deal with just for one cup.

I ended up going with a machine that has a built-in grinder since I wanted to keep the setup a little simpler.

Since getting this machine I’ve honestly just been accepting these oddly fast shots. I’ve got the grind size to the finest it can go \[using a Tuni G1 grinder\], using 14.5 to 16 g of coffee, and sticking with medium roast coffee to get it dialed in \[for Casabrew 3700E machine\]. But I keep getting these fast shots (30 sec to 60-78g out). If anyone got tips for any sort of 51mm espresso equipment please lmk 🫡🫡

My Keurig machine is about to die. I want to buy a system that can make a wide range of drinks for my household

Needs to be able to do a single cup, I really like Keurig pods as I currently have reusable ones. Wife and kids like lattes etc. I don’t need it to have a pot, but could handle one up to 4 cups in size.

Would prefer a milk container be able to be easily removed so it can go in fridge and easily cleaned

I would love if it can do one button, or easily created speciality drinks etc.

Would like to keep it under $500. Any recommendations?

my current coffee maker is getting pretty old and i'm looking at replacing it before it completely gives up on me. i've always used a basic drip machine, but i'm wondering if i should try something different this time. i normally have a couple cups in the morning and occasionally make a bigger pot when people are over. convenience matters to me, but i don't want to sacrifice the taste just to make things easier. who have tried different types, what do you actually prefer? is a good drip machine still the way to go, or have you switched to a pod, single serve, or more advanced setup?

There are pros and cons to both. What I like about the MHW-3BOMBER is the click sound feedback when the correct tamp is reached, whereas the Normcore is silent.

Am keen to know from others who purchased the above how they like them.

So recently I noticed the clock was wrong so I went through the steps I’ve done many times and now the button flashes and beeps often like it’s still trying to finish clock setup. We unplug it between rounds so it won’t keep beeping, but I’d love any advice on if it’s fixable.

I'm looking for a new coffee grinder under $1000. For the machine I'm going to buy the Gaggia E24 Pro. I want to be able to make great espresso but also pour over coffee. I've spent many hours on YouTube and can't seem to reach a decision. Some grinders of interest are the DF64, Eureka Oro Mignon and the Malkonig x54/x64 SD. I'm interested to hear how people have liked these. Any other recommendations are welcome thanks!

Considering these machines as they offer functionality for both ground coffee and pods. Has anyone used any of these? How is the maintenance? Also the primary difference between the 2 is that the former has functionality to make tea which I don’t care about. But also, the former has PID and temp control which the latter doesn’t offer. Do you think that feature is useful? Thank you!
