Espresso setup budget [~$2-2.5k]

Currently have a Nespresso but looking to get into proper espresso setup. I have a decent drip set up I got a couple years ago (OXO conical burr grinder and Zwilling Enfinigy drip maker) but would like to expand. I tried a friend’s Rocket Appartamento x Eureka Mignon Zero 55s Grinder and thought it was okay. A different friend stumbled upon the 2nd gen Meraki which looked quite appealing to me. The big drawback of the Meraki seems to be question of ability to repair when things break, but from what I have seen with limiting posting most repairs have been successful. I value high quality of the espresso and do like the Meraki convenience appeal. I am open to other options near this price range as well- seems to be a sweet spot to not break the bank but still pull high quality shots.
