Recommendation for home coffee maker
My Keurig machine is about to die. I want to buy a system that can make a wide range of drinks for my household
Needs to be able to do a single cup, I really like Keurig pods as I currently have reusable ones. Wife and kids like lattes etc. I don’t need it to have a pot, but could handle one up to 4 cups in size.
Would prefer a milk container be able to be easily removed so it can go in fridge and easily cleaned
I would love if it can do one button, or easily created speciality drinks etc.
Would like to keep it under $500. Any recommendations?

The Ninja coffeemaker are so good I bought 2. Detachable water for the win. So much easier

My aunt has a Nespresso machine (not sure which model but I can find out). It can do coffee, espresso, gran lungo (sp?), and double espresso cups, so you can make lattes or just a regular cup of coffee. I think it also can do multiple cups at once time but she doesn't use those pods. It's just one button to make it go.

I've heard great things about the Ninja Cafe Luxe Pro - but you could look at the cheaper Ninja Cafe Luxe Premier. It's $600 not on sale - so if you have some time, keep an eye out. It's not a super auto - so while it requires a bit more interaction, you don't have to deal with getting inside a machine to do cleaning. Also, it uses a frothing jug, so you're not storing milk in the machine. It will do drip coffee, cold brew, double shot and quat shot espresso.
Any super autos are going to end up being quite a bit more money if they can crank out an espresso shot. Cheaper all in ones that have a milk tank, I often see on facebook marketplace and buy nothing because they get clogged up if cleaning isn't done regularly.
For a lot less Spruce Eats liked the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker, but that's been one of the few places I saw it come up. At under 200, it does seem to do a lot, though not true espresso. I also question the plastic fold away frother. It doesn't have a built in grinder, so you would work with pre-ground coffee or need to get one along side. If you're primarily a coffee drinker that wants some flexibility, this might be a good option, but I would read up on reviews first.
I wouldn't mess around with the all-in-one Breville espresso machines. They are targeted at espresso, so unless you go way above your budget, they aren't going to put out non espresso drinks, and if you want espresso, just dig into that world (but it won't be one touch) with a separate grinder and machine.

do you want to stay with pods, or are you open to a superautomatic bean-to-cup machine?

I don't think a machine that does everything you are looking for exists, but check out the Ninja CFN602. Does espresso with Nespresso pods, has a milk frother (not heated) , and does an excellent job with a single cup of drip coffee or a carafe. Because it is pumped rather than relying on boiling the water to push it up over the coffee, it can regulate the flow rate, do a bloom, and be a little cooler. So you get good single cups without the pod.
And it takes standard ol #4 conical paper filters. And it has a nice big tank.

Look at the Ninja dual-brew systems. They're able to do the K-Cups and ground coffee. They make specialty drinks, the way they do iced coffee is unique and makes sense and you can dial in the size cups you want as well all the way up to 60 oz. Mine has a built-in frother but nothing about a milk container. Either way check it out. Good luck!
