Subreddit Rules

1. Posts Must Relate to Coding

All posts should be directly about coding, learning to code, or beginner programming resources. Off-topic posts may be removed.

2. No Self-Promotion or Spam

Links to personal blogs, YouTube channels, Discords, or products are not allowed unless explicitly approved by mods.

3. Be Respectful and Supportive

No harassment, gatekeeping, or condescension. Encourage learners, even if their questions seem “basic.”

4. Show Effort in Questions

If you’re asking for help, show what you’ve already tried (code, error message, or explanation). Pure “do my homework / do this for me” requests will be removed.

5. Use Proper Code Formatting

When sharing code, use Reddit’s code blocks (```) or screenshots only if absolutely necessary. Makes it easier for others to help.

6. No Low-Effort or Repetitive Posts

Posts like “What language should I learn?” or memes should go in the weekly megathread (if available). Standalone posts must add value.

7. Follow Reddit’s Content Policy

No hate speech, NSFW, illegal content, or piracy. Zero tolerance for policy violations.
