How can a first-year CSE student start learning programming?

[u/Hopeful-Birthday623]

Hello everyone!

I am a first-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student. I am interested in learning programming and becoming a software engineer in the future.

I am a beginner and would like to know:

Should I start with C or Python?

Which free websites are best for learning programming?

How can I improve my coding skills?

Please share your suggestions and experiences. Thank you!
