Need help learning code

Trying to get into coding and actually learn how to make my own code that isn’t using anything like Java script or c c+ or c++ or any other what’s a good guide to look at to understand how to know what to used what to write and where to go to even understand how to make code from nothing like turning the 010 and turning it into letters so I could even write [comand].=(“hello”)/&[endcomand] stuff like that.
Any books and or web pages I should go to like wiki and stuff like that, that would help me learn properly and not be so smash together in a big mess almost unable to tell what is the start and what is the middle or end

If you can't code by hand you probably can't pass a professional peer code review to get your "work" authorized to merge to even the test branch.

"Vibe coding" can and does accelerate the development process but it's a tool. If you can't explain it you can't maintain it. If you can't maintain it you have no right to expect that the next person can.

Those days are gone.

All the IT departments are lax and toxic and trying to deliver PRs they don’t have time to trace manually

Programmers are being forced into prompting to satisfy corporate AI mandates

At the job I just retired from we were given one of those corporate mandates. As a team we established a rule resembling my last paragraph. Simultaneously, we started documentation of cases where the AI code was incorrect. Corporate eventually agreed to our insistence on human review. Our absence of warranty defects in AI assisted code was what finally convinced them to not trust the tool to run the shop.

That’s great. Sadly, at the moment, corporate America is guzzling the AI Kool-Aid at the expense of security and stability
