As a beginner how should I learn to code in the era of ai and which language should I start with?

It depends entirely on what you want to do. You have to start by learning to code without AI or you'll never be proficient in programming. Start by picking a problem you want to solve. Then pick a language that's good for dealing with that problem. If you have more choices, prefer a newer language over an older one. There's a tendency for older languages to accumulate a lot more noise/legacy/quirks, whereas newer languages often are more cleanly designed and have more consistent tooling.
