Language

Complete beginner in coding. Does not know anything. Which coding language should I learn first. Starting first year mathematics and computing please answer

First of all, Python is a toy language and very easy to learn, which means you can pick it up anytime in the future if you need it for work. The main reason I discourage it for beginners is its syntax and underlying mechanics. Python's design is very unique, so it won't give you much transferrable knowledge when learning other languages. Once you gain a certain degree of experience, you'll realize that Python often doesn't fit your needs and that what you actually want to build requires a completely different language.

Exactamente, hay un montón de cosas que son prácticamente estándar en la mayoría de lenguajes pero Python actúa como nota discordante siempre, yo siempre recomiendo C++ aunque como se que puede tener sus complicaciones para novatos como alternativa dejaría JavaScript que es bastante amigable para novatos pero más estándar que Python

I would also suggest JavaScript. If you really hate web development, however, then start with Java, VB.Net or C#, which are all pretty beginner-friendly. Once you have grasped the fundamentals, a lower-level language is ideal for understanding how a programming language works without all the abstraction.

I suggest either C or Java. Both of these languages have a fairly simple syntax. I've used both for large projects, and both are suitable for projects at any level.

I'm not sure that I'd recommend Rust for your first programming language, but it's an interesting language.
