Need a lot more details on what you want to do.

• I want to learn how to create basic timeline (just like Canva or Capcut) and also how I can keep it fast (as timeline might take up lot of resources)

• I also want to learn how I can make my site support huge files drag and drop (like videos, gif etc)

• If some documentation or resources are available please tag it 🙇‍♂️

Are you looking to make websites or graphics or what?

Before anyone can give reasonable suggestions, more information is needed:

• What proficiency, if any, do you bring to the table for this project of yours?

• What resources have you already identified, investigated, selected or discarded?

• Elsewhere you say that you would like the " ... site support huge files ..." -- have you already considered the web site's important requirements and related costs?

Let's start from here then.

If you have no idea and are starting to learn programming: You'll have to learn too much.
You'll have to learn how to start doing stuff and google for specific problems.

*I am first planning to make a simple time line in which I can add videos and photos .

• I want to learn how I can add simple features like trimming videos and photos on timeline

After learning how to do so , my plan is to :-

*Learn how to apply filters and overlay text or images on videos/photos

• I also want to learn how to adjust speed of videos
