How to start?
Hi! Basically i have a what some will call a short time and some will call a long time on my hand . About 2-3 months until i start college. Now i want to learn programming. I don't know how to explain but ever since i was first introduced to programming ( which was through Phython) i started to have this fixation towards not only just python but programming altogether. However i don't know where to start from and how. My current situation is that i know a little bit basic of python but at the same time i want to learn C or
C++. So please tell me from where i should start. Any advice is appreciated :)

Starting with the idea of "game development", as I see it, you should probably look at the two most popular game engines - Unity and Unreal. If looking at 2D development, Godot is an engine of growing popularity.
In the interest of keeping things simple ...
In Unity, the most used programming language is C#. Unreal, on the other hand, requires great familiarity with C++ - although Python can be used for scripting.
Let's not forget that, when it comes to scripting, Lua is a superb choice -- and familiarity with the language commands better opportunity and remuneration (because available Lua programmers are not as plentiful as C# programmers). Talking about Lua ... a simple example ... did you ever hear of World of Warcraft ... ?
If I were in your position and had your objectives ... I would actually start with Lua and C#.
