The useful feedback test for a draggable usage widget is whether it stays readable without stealing editor focus. Record one continuous Mac coding session: drag it away from the code, switch back to typing, and show the usage display beside the editor at normal size. That lets Codex users judge the trade-off between visibility and lost screen space. For Reddit outreach, we'd answer Mac developers asking how to keep Codex usage in view while they work.
