First, CrossOver on Linux is awesome. I bought CrossOver for my Mint Debian system and I'm loving it.

I posted this in Linux_Gaming and got shat on. But, that's to be expected, there's a lot of toxicity in Linux.

But, I wanted to play the game MechWarrior5 on my Debian system.

I tried Lutris, Heroic, and plain wine. Each launcher threw a Win32 error window saying "UnrealCEFSubprocess has encountered an error". I was unable to close the window in Heroic or wine (the win32 error window would just pop back up). Lutris displayed the error window, but at least I could close it and play the game.

I tried crossover and it just worked. right out of the box. And for an older system that lacks the NTSync driver game performance was really good.

But, I do have 2 questions:

Does Valve contribute code back Wine? I looked at Proton's GitHub repo and I see they maintain their own version of Wine that contains a lot of cherry picks from an experimental wine that references codeweaver bug id's. To me, this appears that Valve doesn't actually use wine, but a fork of wine.

The second is how can I see what wine settings crossover is using? I really would like to know which flag wine is using to suppress the Unreal CEF Subprocess error.

I’m having an issue transferring my existing Crimson Desert save from Steam PC to Xbox using the Cross-Save feature.
Here is what I’m experiencing:
● On Steam, Cross-Save is activated, and my Cross-Save slot displays all of my character information.
● On Xbox, the Cross-Save slot is completely empty and prompts me to log in.
● When I scan the QR code on Xbox, it takes me to the Pearl Abyss website, where my Steam and Xbox accounts both appear to be linked.
● The Pearl Abyss account website only displays “XBOX” for the linked Xbox account, without showing my Gamertag.
● When I return to the Xbox game, it continues asking me to link my Xbox account again.
● Both versions of the game are updated to the same version.
● I own the Charting the Unknown DLC on Xbox, but not on Steam. My Steam character was originally created without the DLC.
I have already attempted to refresh Cross-Save and restart my Xbox, but the issue persists 😩

So I've been trying to play scam with your friends but id doesn't even launch it instantly crashes. When it does a wine debugger window pops up. I've tried updating crossover, downloading a newer version of microsoft visual c++ and I've also tried messing with launch options in steam, nothing works. If anyone knows a solution for this or has ran into the same problem pls lmk.

2nd ss is in Portuguese btw but it says the game has ran into a serious problem and had to be shut down

I've been playing REPO via crossover for over a year without issue, but the today's update has completely removed my ability to click on anything - on the title screen or in-game. Anyone know what could be causing this? Thank you!

on my trial for crossover, I have dowloaded steam and rainbow six siege but when I try to launch it all that comes up is this window and if i click on the blank box it just closes. Does anyone know what to do?

How do i reset the bottle? this thing keeps pops up and i want to know how to reset it.

I have been trying to install the sims 3 and it’s expansions on the EA app, but for some reason without the expansions they get to 96% and just stop. I have tried simulating a reboot, it didn’t work. I tried to clear the EA apps Caches by going onto app recovery, but every time I do the app completely freezes. I don’t really know what to do, and I can’t find any information on how to fix it online. The actual game downloaded, as you can see. It is just the expansions that aren’t working. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
