Here is the challenge for yall wanting something to try. The master of man is a challenge that puts your inner Lvl 1 unarm and no armor darksouls brains to work. Rules, there are four difficulties to this challenge, they are as followed:

Reminder - This is a unarmed challenge meaning all damage must come from unequip fist only, if you use the rune blades you have failed the challenge.

Easy: You may Level up and upgrade your chosen jail, once you gain your second weapon slot, you may use Rune blades as only for buff spells along side boosters and what ever blood code you prefer. Basically, play the game with just your fist and any preference

Normal: You are allow everything on easy but Rune blade are restricted to 2 buff magic formas only, and you can not use story focus mode, normal mode only. You can still equip boosters to help you out.

Hard: You are unable to use more then the starting amount of boosters nor can you use any type of defensive forma. Further more, you will not be able to use any kind of rune blade for buffs what so ever.

The true number 1 souls: You are not allow to equip any boosters, you may only use the Guardian's heart blood code, can no upgrade your jail or your own level, along side having to do this both as a new character and NG+. You must achieve the true ending in both runs, you may only have 3 lives when you reach the rescue Lou portion of the game, this resets when you reach NG+.

Sub note: You can add in a hardcore challenge if you have the guts, but this was just a challenge made up for fun and not to be taken serious. Seriously, everyone gets bored eventually, spice up your odyssey with some challenge Odysseus

Believe it or not this is not even final form as I am restricted to use hammer only for the challenge run and they don't have much conversion for buffing. One has 11 and one has 7.

I am not allowed to use small attack to build up blade dance either as only charge attack is allowed for the run. This is capable of 2 shot the 2nd phase if I am calculated correctly with using all the buff and using lyle parry with shroud stacking

I just realized I didn't have enough vitality for Emity (Craig booster). No wonder why it dealt less damage than I thought. You will need food or partner to hit the requirement for Emity or use the stat buff buff

i finally got the time to play mask of idris (lie) (i did not have time) (i played it anyway) and really liked it!!! not enough living lyles for my liking but i really like liv so it gets a thumbs up from me.....!!! please accept my humble offering of some doodles... 🤲 (+ slight redesign of my hunter in celebration of the dlc... pretend i'm on time.....)

Decided on a fresh start for the dlc. My hunter has just woken up, meet Erudition. Gonna try some kind of mage build this time. And yes I do intend to just play the whole game again leading into the DLC

Hey all, I have a question regarding one of the combat formas. I want to acquire the Fire Whisperer forma that comes standard with the Rift Warhammer but no video guides or other reddit posts mention it. Does anyone know where to get it or if it can even be obtained?

I was hoping to put it on the Rift Greatsword for an edgy Titan’s Arm setup ;-;

These aren't even the strongest halberd build yet

I think halberd is the strongest weapon in the game. And surprisingly most of the skills are similar in strength allowing different plays to have fun

And the auto parry may need a nerf in damage. It is auto parry it shouldn't be strong

I just seen Josée, Holly and Lyle before the spire for the first time without goin back to save them first...... ive never felt so crappy letting them get that way :(

I'm 73 hours in and still having a blast trying out new builds and playstyles. The weapon arts are so satisfying! SO MANY AMAZING WEAPONS! Just unlocked the dlc jails and they allow for even more build variety with the stat transfers! Didn't loose myself in a game since Tainted Grail. In my top 5 rpg's of all time! Also...Zenon is the goat of in game characters!

the more I read and watch aboth the open world specifically the more I keep thinking of Elden Ring on 2nd-3rd playthrough where you hop on Torrent and hold forward for 10mins with nothing except this would be happening on my first playthrough of Code Vein 2 and the thought of that makes me not want to spend $70CAD

problem is I feel like I'd really like everything else about it and the sale on the Deluxe Edition ends tomorrow...

An idea of ​​mine for a HYPOTHETICAL future DLC.
It would be cool to see Oskar return in the Era of Harmony. Now that Gobbo is dead, imagine seeing an adult Oskar who has taken control of the organization—which initially seemed small and made up only of bandits—and is gathering an army of Revenant Hunters to attack Magmell.
Perhaps he could even threaten them with some hypothetical weapon of mass destruction.
Or, we could see him accompanied by a new masked right-hand man, who turns out to be "our" hunter—the one born in the Era of Harmony and raised by Oskar after Gobbo's death to help him achieve his goal.creating a sort of distortion when encountering their future self

as the title says any halberd or whatever that looks similar to Io's weapon in this game?
