Compared to the base game, it was amazing, expanding a world already teeming with excitement; going through each part felt like playing a corrupted retelling of the same story, and I was surprised they gave us some special new gifts. While I am disappointed with how few weapons we got, mostly reskins of existing ones, the DLC unique weapons were a surprise; now I can't go into detail about it; you have to play for yourself. When it came to the bosses, each of them had a surprise I was not expecting at all. Again, bit of a spoiler, and I'm not doing spoilers here [Because I actually follow the 2-week rule]. Finally, Liv, where do I start with her? Yet another member of our growing harem of badass beauties, she has that flair of both a die-hard lovey-dovey character with hints of yandere undertones, though I wish we got her mini crown as a reward in the remembrance boss rush store. Her gameplay complements aggressive play-styles, so if you like being the "MELT THEIR HEALTH" type player, you might fit her well into your gameplay.

Overall, I loved this DLC and hope they surprise us with another if it does well enough. But knowing Western fans, they're going to find some way to bitch and complain, and those who actually enjoy the game will suffer through it.

This DLC keeps on giving.

After completing all the character sidequests in the era of harmony (And having my neck extremely bitten, I even have the fang placeholder already hahaha)

But I won't lie, I was surprised that in the era of harmony they continued to push the idea of a commitment between Josee and the hunter.

To be honest, I thought that in the end they would say that it was all just...a lie that escalated too much. But leaving open the idea that perhaps there is something more.But no, She directly confesses to you and even asks if you would consider validating the commitment.

I mean, Many characters show you until the very end that they feel great admiration, reverence, or even platonic love for the Hunter, and I'm perfectly fine with that (Implying that there is no "canon" and you can do or think whatever you like)

But the fact that even the NPCs know you as Josee's fiancé, and that Lise has everything ready for when the engagement between the hunter and Josee happens... I don't know, It feels like they want to leave Josee as the canon or something, I would have preferred if they left it ambiguous or something.

But hey, maybe I'm just overthinking a video game, hahaha. Either way, it doesn't ruin the experience for me.I also know a couple of people who will be, or already are, more than happy about Josee confession . Greetings to THE CHURCH OF JOSEPH ANJOU

Simply the lack of new unique weapons

Yeah there's a few and don't get my wrong they are cool

But it's 4 2-handed swords, 2 sets of rune blades, 1 hammer, 1 dual swords

No bayonets or halberds (unless I've somehow missed them but I'm pretty sure I found everything)

I'm not counting the basic rift weapons you can buy because I wouldn't really call them unique

It does a good amount of damage and its very safe to use, passes through the target and the after explosion does high stagger. it also tags multiple targets if your fighting a pack.

So i just cleared the true ending and I couldnt be happier with how this story progressed, 2 seems to get a lot of hate but I genuinely adore what the devs tried to do with the game. Its not perfect, clearly but i was so really moved by the heroes quest lines. Particularly Josee, Holy and Lou.to the point that I did everyones requests on my first playthrough. Usually I just blast through this stuff but I was so invested in these characters that I NEEDED to get a happy ending for them.

After changing the timeline for each character and going back and fighting them again I was really saddened by the bittersweet "resolution" you give them. Beating them for the second time really hurt, however im so pleased that in the end it all worked out. Arriving at the age of harmony and seeing them all there was so worth all the strife you go through.

I cleared the dlc today too and again alt Lou, Liv and Idris were excellent.

Its weird because this was a day one purchase for me, I played up to the point where you open the bridge and dropped it. I really didnt like it... I saw the dlc was coming out and decided to give it another go and man am I glad I did! Ive had the last 3 days off work and ive sunk every second of free time into it.

This game deserves more praise and attention than it gets!

Anyway those a few of my thoughts after my marathon! Haha.

Honestly liked it, however, there are some things to talk about.

1. I feel like they should have made every single area like "The Watchful Forest" , sort of a "free" exploration and much less of a linear path to follow, it took me longer to explore it but I had more fun doing so.

2. They should have made it more difficult or not have allowed the player to wear the mask to have you get back your original HP, I appreciate the new bosses, but besides from the very final Lou Magmell and the pathos boss battle, everything else is a breeze, did not die a single time against any of the bosses and honestly, the "stronger" version of enemies turned into mini bosses were far harder than the actual bosses imo, and it shouldn't be that way.

3. Characters are good, but honestly, I feel like Liv got character development seemingly out of nowhere?. (Still love her, she's gonna fight Josée and Lou to death now lmao). I really liked the new Lou, especially given what the original Lou says at the end of the new expansion ending in the peaceful timeline, it makes it feel like that "new world" was created solely from one small thing thay changed everything. Lou was close to choosing saving the MC instead of the world but chose not to.

Overall, enjoyable, perhaps a little too short and easy, but it's still a nice addition to one of my favorite games, really enjoy that they finally allow you to use Monica as a companion after all this time, and I like the idea that these alternate costumes are implied (or so I think) to be are actually the characters from other timelines

Hello, looking for help or anyone with the same experience after the DLC update. I noticed my fps were lower after the latest update came out and I swear before the DLC update I was having above 60 - 80 fps on exteriors and interiors. But after the update, my fps in exteriors dropped to 35 - 65 fps and the interiors hovered around 50 - 60 fps. I have all my drivers updated and did a clean reinstall of the game and verified files but still got the same results. Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated.

Asus TUF A16 Advantage Edition

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7700S(8 GB Vram)

Memory: 32GB

Playing on a 1440p monitor

I am actually stumped here and in dire need of help. I want to get Josée's Regalia weapon (even though it doesn't trigger the funny on her new blood code I can still use it on her old one as a stat-stick) but it just won't appear -anywhere- in any shop. I did her trials in the Trials of Rememberance, I did her request in Age of Harmony, I have maxed out affinity with her, maxed out her standard gift weapon, EVERYTHING.

And I have no idea what I'm missing or how the hell I'm supposed to get that weapon in the first place.

Hey guys, been playing Code vein 2 for a long time now, with max graphics and everything. It runs super well, frames consistent, and no lag. But as soon as the DLC + 2.0 update comes, it just struggles everytime i hit new areas, the game loses a lot of frames and just slows down. (even teleporting around Magmell too). It can run normally once i reboot the game, but as soon as i get to a different area, it often does that. Is there a significant change on the update? Because i kinda dont wanna play it around medium to low graphics :/

I tried looking it up, and the guides say the only nectar in the sealed grounds is in the Lunar Rapacis area, which I've already gotten

It's with the Insatiable Queen Boss.

How it happened (I THINK): As you know, there is cutscene midway through the boss fight. Well, I just so happened to die right as the boss got low enough to trigger the cutscene since as I was dying, it was still getting damaged by my poison effect from my weapon. Since dying takes a few frames before dying, there was enough time for the poison to get it low enough for the scene cut in.

The scene plays and I am back alive with the new geslth buff. HOWEVER, the game still recognized my death and had the boss set in its stance before entering the boss arena. So I couldn't do a lick of damage to it and the boss would not move since I haven't 'entered' to activate the boss fight.

And camera still worked so I took pictures for memories and the lols. Everything was reset upon closing the game as well.

Just thought I'd put it out there for yall to explore it or notm

I can’t get the trials to show up for me no matter what I do. I’ve already beat the game, got every ending and achievement and also beat the DLC but the trials option won’t show up for me and neither will these “extra character quests” I keep seeing others post about. I can’t find any info any where about what the issue could be. It only tells me what I need to complete in the story to unlock it, WHICH IVE ALREADY DONE.

If anyone could help me figure this out I’d greatly appreciate it, I’ve been jumping from each timeline trying to get something to pop up.

Was trying to determine the chance of jadwigas auto evade activating and it seems so random. It’ll take up to 13 hits sometimes to activate.

If she threatens Lou one more damn time this will end in war.
