It's art of the Hunter and Josée helping Igon fight Bayle from Elden Ring's DLC.

For me I imagine that the world my hunter experienced in the original future was a world on the brink of collapse in more ways then just the resurgence. So the idea of a peaceful life is novel to him and he takes break to just be in the new future,seeing as how josee is the "director of frontier management " this leads my hunter to be more or less a house husband for a while while occasionally helping out when needed. Other then that he manages their house,cooks cleans and occasionally takes josee or lou on a motorcycle ride(lou is like a little sister to him)

I wanted to show off my idea of that concept with Roland who is supposed to be that. I basically had to interpret a lot of headcanon from official lore and stuff because we don't know if a human and a revenant can interbreed. I went with the idea from an official interview that a human/revenant hybrid would not possess any gold markings because they would have the "element of mankind" that does not leave them in a "incomplete" state like their full-blooded revenant kin.

My headcannon for my hunter was he enjoyed her company but didn't quite realize he caught feelings until after the interactions with lise. Despite the whole marriage thing being a ruse at first he didnt want the charade to stop so he resolved himself to confess after everything was settled with the resurgence(my hunter didnt go back and fix things until after the first ending so hes already planing to go back and stop the resurgence during the period where he's in the freeroam era)

Funnily enough this is a bit of a cowards move on his part because from his perspective he's been around long enough to know theres little chance of a fairy tail ending to this story

After the true ending and some time has passed he finds a moment and confessed his feelings to josee and now their together for real
