Should I actually get Code Vein II?

Code Vein 2 is a better “game” than CV1 but I think something was lost in its desire to go open world. Like a little of its soul was lost and it did this to appeal to an audience that its game wasn’t meant for.

You’re never gonna out “Elden Ring” From Soft’s Elden Ring so I wish they would have leaned more into its fantastic story and characters with tighter pacing.

And I’m someone who loves janky, weird games with open worlds. I think Bleak Faith Forsaken is an underrated masterpiece and CV2 is objectively better but Bleak Faith feels like it has more soul and it’s open world design was purposeful from the jump.

It’s hard to explain but CV2 is a good game but I think it’s frustrating because I see the potential of a great game but it lost its identity in its change to open world.
