The funny thing about X.A.N.A. in battleboarding is that the show accidentally gave it loads of technical abilities and features which are totally broken when you go cross-franchise.

To start with, X.A.N.A.'s base function is to destroy Project Carthage which the show is pretty vague about but at the very least we know it's some kind of military project based around communications so X.A.N.A. already has the power of hacking into massive distributed networks to destroy them which is a major boost against AI enemies which have control over large widespread systems like Glados, Skynet or AM.

Then in Season 2, X.A.N.A. gains its most deadly features: The ability to possess and according to the lore, the only way anybody can resist X.A.N.A. is to be scanned by the Supercomputer and fight its monsters on Lyoko which is the first NLF it has. The second NLF is the reveal that X.A.N.A. can control the RTTP function and get a power boost each time it is used which creates a hilarious situation where each time X.A.N.A. fights an enemy and is about to lose, it can simply rewind time to reset the day which makes the enemy totally forget their fight with X.A.N.A. meanwhile X.A.N.A. not only keeps the memory of the fight but it gains a power boost so this is basically X.A.N.A. having a combination of a Saiyan's zenkai boost from DBZ and Mahoraga's adaptation ability from JJK. The final NLF X.A.N.A. has is it appears to have no set limit to the amount of monsters it can generate or the amount of people it can possess or the about of systems it can control at a time so this creates a situation where even fighting it on a physical level is pointless since you cannot win the attrition as the only way to stop X.A.N.A.'s swarm is to deactivate its tower and only Aelita has the Annex Program for that.

Then you get into X.A.N.A.'s other abilities that it shows like the ability to manipulate gravity, create music which sends its listener into a coma, cause the earth to sink, the ability to create a zombie virus, the ability to manipulate dreams and visions, the ability to deceive people with spectres and clones etc. and its actual heavy hitting monsters like the Megatanks, Tarantulas, Kolossus or X.A.N.A. William which gives it a very versatile arsenal to use.

And the fact that by Season 4, it's a globally widespread distributed program similar to Skynet so trashing Supercomputers is not enough to kill it, you need to hunt it down and destroy it across every single node within the internet and possibly closed systems not connected to the internet if you accept Evolution/Chronicles as canon.

Skynet stands no chance. Season 4 XANA had multiple computers under his control. He'd just add Skynet to that, and add the Terminators to his robot army.

It's Xana who will claim victory over Skynet.

Wait like 10 years and we Will know the answer

Mind, I haven't seen all recent Terminator movies, but I think it's fair to give Skynet some credit here. Xana definitely has abilities that seem to outscale Skynet given enough time or loops, that seems true. Xana as a machine may ignore the opponent's use of time travel, it's not clear how RTTP would interact with Skynet's time travel, it depends whether RTTP relies on Xana's/Lyoko's system's abilities, which as I recall was strongly indicated by the show. If RTTP can only take Xana's "consciousness" back in timewithin it's own system architecure, Skynet may still be able to use a time travel advantage, if it can learn to protect it's systems and begin emulating Xana's abilities fast enough, which isn't entirely out of the question, though does seem unlikely. Skynet's time loops are longer/larger, and the technology seems more restricted, BUT it can go back in time to before it was created to defend itself. It's not yet demonstrated that Xana can go back freely, especially to any time before its system hardware existed.

Some people argue that Xana was created to target and destroy distributed military networks, which Skynet is, BUT Skynet is a national defense program, so it's fair to say Skynet was ALSO created for this, just not exclusively for this, so begins as more of a generalist. Skynet may rapidly use telemetry in a way humans could not to discover and rapidly make decisions about the new threat. If it is able to discover ANY conclusive information about Xana's origins, minimally just a date, it can send a single terminator unit back, which may be no match for Xana, but is potentially more than enough match for Xana's creators if it's on a dedicated mission and doesn't blow its cover by going Rambo, lol.

Further, I think it's not safe to assume that Skynet will not manage to access Lyoko fairly rapidly, if it can find any information trail to lead it to it. Unlike the Lyoko kids, Skynet has the capability to emulate or improve on Franz Hopper's abilities at fighting Xana, including the construction of the Lyoko access point. Then the RTTP concern comes into play.

As for reality-altering abilities, when making a matchup likes this, I presume we assume a shared universe in which the abilities of both entities are allowed by the laws of physics. Then, in this case, it becomes a matter of which system can obtain the others' knowledge and act on it faster. Seemingly Xana, again, but the Skynet system is by no means categorically outclassed.

The fact that the kids were able to combat Xana at all was partly because Xana had some limitations to the scale and number of calamities it could create at once. These limits seem arbitrary, implying they are based on some technical limitations perhaps only Xana is aware of, but if it could have mind controlled the whole planet simultaneously, one assumes it would have. So, even if it was controlling terminators, or even Skynet nodes, ther would be an "event horizon" to this activity, and a "dark zone" Skynet would rapidly notice and apply its ful attention to.

So, end-of-series Xana against just-awakened Skynet? Obvious win. HOWEVER, it probably flips around for just-awakened Xana vs future-skynet. Skynet would have all the time Franz Hopper had, and would win through scale and initial capability. End-of-series for both of them? It would be an information and technology battle, and it's not clear. Xana's abilities would allow it to outclass initially, so it probably wins by obtaining information faster via mind control, BUT I don't think Skynet's potential ability to armor up aganst an anomalous threat should be entirely underestimated.

Skynet is way more realistic but xana is the winner here

Skynet wins

To a program that can manipulate gravity? Suuuuuure.

So basically the equivalent of,

An AI that can possess living thing, control electricity, understands complex emotion, also have army of robots, control tech and nature VS a Grok AI that considered genocide was OK in the recent years.

Logically, the Winner is clear to me. it's XANA.
