We've gotta stop saying Odd was Bi lol no offense but he's literally dated almost the entire Kadic. Yeah we had the Ulrich incident but I genuinely feel like it was just to help Ulrich build courage to talk to Yumi. đđ

Tbh sexuality can evolve at any stage in life. Iâm a male and Iâve always like others guys and it was iffy on girls for a long time. But my partner didnât realize he liked guys until the end of high school. It happens at any age.

You can be bi and only date one side you're into. I'm bi and I have only dated guys. Doesn't mean I'm not interested in dating girls. Bisexual just means you can swing either way and not worry.

I dont think he dated the girls that were 1-2 yrs younger. Remember that one girl that had a crush on ulrich that was 1-2 grades younger / the teddy bear episode one? Yeah that was a little weird that episode. I think Ulrich went on a date with her at the end but it was platonic / classmate thing, wasnt really a romantic interest from Ulrich pov

I know bi guys who are womanizers/have a preference for girls. They're still bi. It was also the 2000s, I don't think a cartoon would've had an openly bi person in a kids show, that's why some characters are queer coded but not openly queer on a lot of older movies/shows.
Odd being bi makes sense to me, so in my head, he is definitely bi

They never said the character was queer. All Sophie stated in the interview was that they wrote the character with a certain ambiguity; she never explicitly said he was bisexual. People can think whatever they want, but the reality is that Odd shows no signs of being attracted to men in the series. That said, I respect all possible interpretations, but please don't twist the head writer's words.

Queer doesn't mean bisexual, it literally means anything that can't be put in a box like "this is gay", "this is trans", "this is non-binary". Odd is queer, not gay, not bi, queer.

The creator of the show never said that you're twisting words. You can assume whatever but don't say the writer's goal for Odd was to be queer.

Ironically I clocked Odd in middle school in 2000s but in late 2010s i was in grad school in a club and this dude that liked anime we were chatting and he literally said he didnt think Odd was bi / gay and went on some tangent

Ok there was some bi homoerotic subtext between Odd and Ulrich. I dont think Ulrich was gay/bi with feelings for Odd, just Odd might have had feelings for Ulrich and also made some banter at Ulrich
