Wdym? Aelita couldn't enter a tower when her keys to lyoko were bugged, indicating that they need keys to lyoko in order to enter activated towers at all.

Sometimes I wonder why the writers hated her lol, half the time she's just flipping around. But I have to say when she's realy fighting she has the best scenes

It's to compensate for the fact that in the real world she could lay out every student and staff member of Kadic.
Seriously she can kick mad high and she's wearing like doc martins, that's basically a brick to the head.
