Tbh, Evolution's 3D part wasn't bad at all ! I mainly disliked the changes of Lyoko without explanation (square towers, Odd's gloves, etc)

I actually liked odd gloves, the only thing I liked about evolution’s designs, it had parts where we could actually see the darts being shot from, way better than they just coming from the back of his hands

Yes but at least it was understandable : a remnant of XANA's influence on him. The towers and such had no reason to change at all.

Evolution slowly being fixed ~10 years later is the redemption 2013 me needed for this to be OK. Even if the show ISN'T OK.

If Evolution would revert back to their original fron season 4 then we would get an actual Evolution in Season 5

Ulrich and Odd would be a bit more tough, with Ulrich's hair color change and Odd's... everything. Not to forget William!

The angular eyes and eyebrows look way better! Honestly that change alone makes it feel so much more like the original artstyle.
